Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No I don't do that muttering under the breath but I've held my tongue. No sense in saying anything unless the person is receptive and open minded.

Do you travel light or pack the kitchen sink?

London - I know it's near but there's so much going on there - never bored!

Is there anything you always pay attention to when meeting someone for the first time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Hmmm ... good question. Probably, eye contact. I don’t mind shyness (I’m shy myself) but think first impressions do last. If someone isn’t looking at you, it’s not a great start!

What do you think of people who wear shades when it’s not sunny? (excluding for medical reasons)

I wear them because i suffer from migraines. If I saw someone wearing them in a nightclub for example I automatically think "twat"

    Hows your sunday going?

Are you a fan of the festivities associated with st. Patrick's day?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

It’s a recovery day for me as I did the dog on it last night. Awaiting the arrival of lovely little visitors (& my brother & suster-in-law) who will keep me on my toes for the afternoon.
Edit: St. Patrick’s Day isn’t a huge event for me

No. That would most definitely be my hardest dance to pull off - a LOT of confidence needed. Tbh, there have only been a few Strictly rumbas I’d watch again.

    Karaoke song of choice?

I don't get the urge to go away often but I like to visit a close friend near Dartmoor which is an atmospheric place.

    Do you practise mindfulness/gratitude?

From childhood, a lot of soot falling down the chimney just before bed. Of course I thought Santa Clause was above, on the roof, biding time until I went to sleep.

    Yours?
