    Hi all,

Im heading to NY in Jan to visit family. I was thinking of picking up the Oculus Quest in the Black Friday sales and having it delivered to a family member in the US and collecting it while I was there.

Is there any reason it wont work when I bring it home? i.e From what I have read there is no region lock. I would save almost €100 at current prices, A bit more of it drops for Black Friday.

It should work fine, but you won't be covered by their warranty for any replacements.

They are extremely fragile pieces of kit (don't let the sun into the lens for even 2 seconds as it will burn in), so it's handy to have the piece of mind the warranty gives.

But, saying that, if you buy it in the US and take care of it, you should be fine.

Don't risk playing it outdoors, unless sun has completely gone down and all sun reflections disappeared.
