    Quite a good bit of lightening visible around Cork City right now. It was pretty loud a whole ago but seems to be easing off.

    Just watching Sat24 - there is some cohesion and structure building in that semi-frontal band that brought the storm to Cork. Lightning is observed broadly along a line stretching from the southwest out toward the Celtic Sea east of Cornwall. This is interesting for us further north potentially later in the night.

    About 300 homes without power now in West Cork mainly around Bantry according to the ESB power outage map.

    There has been some heavy pulses of rain here all evening, with less rainy periods in between.

    Constantly raining though since around 6pm

    Dublin Airport should have a new TAF in the next few minutes. 2300Z usually.
    Will be interesting as the previous one only called for heavy rain from 2300-0100Z and only brief mentions of any CB.
