ESB Power Check all quiet a few clusters in Cork but nothing of note anywhere betting things will turn sparky in the next hour or so I'm playing Zelda Breath of the Wild with epic thunder storms chasing me all through the land

The wind is picking up in Finglas South with a downpour to go with it

Gone all quiet here on the south Cork coast. Night and enjoy!

We wont get hit. Same will happen as always. Mega thunder over Wicklow etc and it will go poof as soon as it hits the mountains.

We will get some heavy rain but no rumbles.

Torrential rain now in Tramore. Thunder still out in the bay but sounds like its getting closer.

It was only Tuesday last week we had unbelievable thunder and blinding flashes of lightning. Worst I've experienced in my life in Ireland.

We have always been kind to you Wicklow - provided jobs, internet, electricity, money, people, basic sanitation, Bray....don't screw this up for us :D

Those storms are very slow moving
They might be a shower train
Meaning they'll move as slow north as the low but more circle than north

4 lightning flashes in last 15 minutes few miles outside Nenagh in North Tipp.

All this following a major thunderstorm in the locality last Sunday which caused damage, most notable being the killing of 8 in-calf heifers sheltering under a tree near Moneygall.

Had only arrived back from Italy at 3.00 am that Sunday morning having experienced 3 impressive thunderstorms while there.

Thing is I hadn't witnessed any thunder/lightning here or anywhere else for years!
