Regular flashes of lightning here in North Tipp that are coming from the E/NE of the county.

From the radar it's moving away but counties to our SE, E and NE look like they're having or going to have some action.

High altitude lightning or horizontal distance you reckon (reason not hearing thunder)?

IMO don't have the same DLS and vorticity tomorrow as we had tonight but still got a high Theta E reading and Temperatures getting up over 20C.

Diurnal heating with LLS , convergence and Topographical lift could produce scattered Thunderstorms with locally heavy falls of rain.

Doesn't look like we will see the same kind of storms tomorrow as we got tonight , not the same energy in the atmosphere but could still get quite a few.

    What ye reckon?

Very nice show in S Wexford tonight. Best in a long time. Frequent lightning, some nice CG strikes at close range and a lot of rain. Goodnight.

Wexford side of the mountains here. It's been thundering and lightning for the past hour. Blinding lightning.
At first there was only lightning and no thunder and then the heavy rain came and then the thunder and lightning.
    Floods everywhere.

    It's just all finished now.

Still going on here. I'm usually the first to want to hide under the blanket but we really don't get much of events like this.
