Still going on here. I'm usually the first to want to hide under the blanket but we really don't get much of events like this.

You could be in for another while still another burst of heavy rain here now with more thunder and lightning. So it looks like there's more to head up that way.

Low cloud just rolled in. Often the forebear.

I realise we're not exactly in line, but hammering it down in Westport.

Haven't seen any flashes! Sick child taking all the attention.

That's what I noticed first before it started. The low clouds being well lit up by any ground lights. It was very warm on the wind too.

Fierce windy trying to decide whether to hop in car and head somewhere with solid walls or ride it out.

How long is it expected to be this windy on wexford coast?

was just looking up to see any flashes and I noticed the lower cloud and thought "why is the cloud moving SW instead of N??"

Then I realized its low lying cloud lol

Loud thunder here now after a massive flash

Anybody else lost power in Kildare?

Also, it's the first time our dogs have heard thunder. To say they are losing their sh1t is an understatement.

Seems activity inland and out to sea of you. But no doubt the detectors are not exactly accurate.

Starting to light up around you. Interestingly ECM was going for max instability and storm potential over Wicklow/Dublin/Louth.
