Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Better than Revolut for holdiays or online shopping.

What about foreign currency fees ?

I read that as maximum cashback is €30, as in 3% of €1000.

Use your debit card outside of the Eurozone this summer to score 3% cashback on any purchase up to €1,000. The €1,000 is a cumulative total of all purchases made.1

Not sure how good an offer this is by the time you factor in poor fx rate and fees.

If you made 3 atm withdrawals they'd cost you more than €30 in fees and FX rates.

Its basically the 2% fee returned plus 1% extra- says it on the website

The extra is easily swallowed up by their poor fx rates.

My understanding is the debit card fee outside eurozone is visa interbank rate plus 2 percent max fee €11.43.

So you will get Revolut rate plus 1% cashback

Your OP said €1000, it's not even 30 as that will be clawed back on fees so you might end up with a bit less than 10.

This seems to be aimed at the same morons who fell for PTSB's 2% a month back on their mortgage.

I misread the €1000 so will edit it.
