I also don't think she's 'daring' not to be conventionally good looking like some sort of renagade, she just isn't naturally very good looking. It's just a fact. It's not like she's going against the grain on purpose. I like unconventionally good looking woman, Helena Boham Carter for example I admire her quirkiness and style. Also I'd say SJP has a pretty thick skin like.
