On balance right to award try I think

Probably wouldn't be awarded in a 6N or RWC pool.

Why is there a forward slash on the scoreboard on channel 4?

And then says, "ask me that again and ill penalise you". Not funny now.

It was almost said in jest. I'm impressed with this ref so far.

Cause they are playing at 70%.................

Ruddock and Carbery the best of our lot so far.

    Jordi hasn't started well though.

Chris Farrell has done very well too, not so hot for Larmour though

Farrell running on to a ball at pace is a wonderful thing.

Great work from Dave Kearney. Haven't seen him so hungry in years.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,366 ✭✭✭yerrahbah

    Carbery though

Joey Carbery seems to on song.
    Sexton should be worried.

The Steward showing Minozzi to his seat there. Wonderful stuff.

Ringrose has had a brilliant 5 minutes. His offload was pivotal for the try and then showed brilliant work rate to make the tackle behind Italy's line.

Carbery, Ringrose, Farrell and Kearney all seem bang on form. We just need our forwards to start building momentum and getting us near Italy's line.

    He won't be.

Nice that our 10s are flourishing though.

Smart from carbery. A blitz defense could kill us in the World Cup and ruin Sextons game in the process.

Joey getting the ball in behind every chance and making it work.

I generally don't care about Jerseys but that Ireland jersey is dire.

I actually think it’s the better of the two. The training jersey is the best of a bad bunch.

    Good man Conway. Nice try.

Nice to see Larmour getting his head up and passing rather than going himself. He's was guilty of that a few times last season.

We still bash up too much with the forwards though. Ball could have gone to the backs 5 phases earlier.

Mbanba offside and then chopped, right in front of the ref.

Last WC Sexton was accused of kicking too much

This WC he is accused of kicking too little.....

This years WC hasn't taken place yet.

  • that last pen to Italy was a joke. Italian player literally on his knees and wins a turn over. ref just wanted to end the half

Back three all doing well, Carbery varying the play nicely.

Forwards aren't as dominant as we'd like.

Sexton's form for Ireland in 2019 has been horrible.

    Front row been decent
Toner been better of the 2nd rows
    Ruddock best of backrow
    Luke ok
    Joey very good
    Back 3 doing well
    Centre been good

The more I see of Farrell, the more impressed I am. He really is a quality player, could be a genuine option at 12 to start.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,302 ✭✭✭All_in_Flynn

Luke McGrath going very well I think.

Carberry the standout player on the pitch. Oozes class.

Farrell putting his hand up too.

    Significant he is playing 12

Could one of Farrell Henshaw Aki Ringrose miss the cut?

This media pressure for Ireland to be more spontaneous and creative has reached ridiculous levels. Donal lenihan quipped that Ireland should have passed quickly from a 5m scrum because Italy were drawn in, as if it's an example of our lack of imagination or ability to be clinical.

Total BS, we were on a second scrum penalty from 5m and moving forward, that's a potential try and yellow card, what f*cling planet is he living on?!? Creative does not mean irrational. We scored a couple of phases later and we got to stress them on their own line, we have been in their 22 three times for three tries, it's just not fitting his narrative.

Luke doing well at 9, pretty snappy service

    its tricky tbh

you have to play as a team but for a few its individualy to get on the plane and you could helping your team rivlary get ahead of you

    its sport i guess

I think Ringrose has offloaded more today than our entire team has in the last few years.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

Ringrose remains by far and away our best 13
