Based on that video...its possible...but not even close to the same league as Biden's decline in mental function

If you watch his Tusla speech, its clear Trump is lucid and healthy. Biden, on the other hand, has a well-established pattern - not a few once offs - of senile word salad.

Can you post a full speech of Bidens that proves your point?

Yeah, but what do you think of Joe Biden?

Still only amounts to the occasional gaffe...

...but it is a nice attempt to smear him with the same brush. Trump wouldn't get through a 1.5-hour speech without some brain fart...if he was remotely in the same senile league as Biden...and he isn't.

Whereas, Biden is clearly for the birds.

BTW...that Tusla speech shows some real public speaking skill, as well as a good cognitive function.

He once referred to the air force during the Civil War...

You think his lies about walking down the ramp was good? The man is a grifter, makes things up as he goes along and when called out on them he denies he even said it.

    I'll say it again:

    Occasional gaffe.....vs ....outright cognitive collapse.

    Trump vs Biden.

Honestly, you cant let Biden into a TV debate with Trump, he'll get destroyed. It will be a complete humiliation for Biden and his family.

He's trolling the media, who need him to survive. There is a co-dependency. there, or was at least. I don't think he needs them anymore....they certainly need him as their bogeyman.

And the TDS crowd...I watched a part of a previous rally where he indicated he might stay in power for 16 more years....but definitely not more than that!!!

I can understand why he is hated, he is brilliant at winding people up.

I'd love to truly understand you.

The above is so demonstrably untrue, it's not even worth debating. But I would love to really know what motivates you (and others) to defend him with these types of statements.

I'm guessing that it is nothing to do with Trump, less than nothing if anything, but because you perceive him as being against 'society' or 'normal convention, or whatever it is.
This is the part I'd like to understand, why do some such as yourself go so hard with the 'enemy of my enemy is my friend approach'. Is it a feeling that life hasn't treated you the way you hoped it has?
Is it a gripe that a lot of politicians talk about helping those less fortunate but you don't fall in to that category in the normal way (by race, sexuality, ethnicity etc) and you resent the idea that someone is fighting for them, but not for you.

So many of you post in the same way using the same terms to refer to his enemies and using the same arguments about bias, MSM etc without giving examples of his policies successes which justifies supporting him that I am convinced your support for him is nothing to do with 'him' but is to do with who he isn't. Why is that?

I can easily see why he’s hated.

I wouldn't say I 'hate' Trump but I dislike him pretty intensely because (but not limited to)
    • He is uncaring about the natural resources on the planet and the need to presrve them.
    • He is misogynistic.
    • He is rude.
    • He is insensitive.
    • He is selfish.
    • He has taken part in illegal activities.
    • He is making the world a less safer place.
    • He is undermining an office and a country which has huge influence in the world.
    • He has grossly mismanaged the Covid-19 pandemic.
    • He lies.
    • He sets a bad example.

Now, please tell me which of these isn't true and why, if they are true, I am a simpleton for disliking him?

    Why?
I can easily see why he’s hated.

Indeed. Some of his acts are utterly loathsome. Having separated families at the border beyond repair he then tried to charge migrants as much as $800 apiece for the DNA tests necessary to reunite them with their own children, who in some cases were left to wallow in their own filth or be sexually molested if not both.

If anyone has trouble thinking of perfectly valid criteria for categorical hatred of Donald Trump there’s plenty to pick from.

Not so much supporting him as being against what has become of the left - both in Europe / UK and the US.

There is a communist/militant left threat in UK/ Europe / US which has removed traditional liberalism ( which I would have supported ).

So I support conservativism as a defence against socialism/ communism/ radical leftism...because there is no liberalism to enjoy anymore.

    What is this threat?

Can you point to people/parties/examples of it and say why you feel it constitutes a 'threat'?

Well you'll be happy so as there's 3 debates planned. We shall see who's humiliated then.

And Trumps campaign startlingly begged for more.

It’s never a good look when an incumbent President is asking for more debates. But then again he’s often been in the habit of talking the talk and then slinking the slink when it comes time to pony up, the same way he #BunkerBitched his way out of doing a mutually agreed upon debate 1v1 with Bernie Sanders.

This whole Biden is in cognitive decline is straight out of the Joseph Goebbels Nazi PR playbook: Make the lie simple, repeat it often and people will eventually come to believe it’s true.

I've seen numerous examples that would have me worried...that's not to say that trump is any better...I just find the shying away from some serious claims against him is a bigger worry

He spent 12% of his Tulsa speech talking about drinking a glass of water....

His rant about the Ramp and the glass of water took him 1798 words , as a reference the Gettysburg address was a total of 272 words.

Being able to spew words out endlessly does not an orator make. Nor is it an indicator of cognitive ability.

He's not as good an orator as Obama...clearly...but he is very good.

He was coherent - which is an indicator of cognitive ability. His speech also had a clear structure - intro, beginning, middle and end that was well-paced over 1.5 hours, without a single mistake.

That suggests that he has good cognitive health.
