    hi all

new on the board, ill give you a laugh!
I'm picking the game up after 12yrs!
dusted off the bag out of the attic
and my gear was pretty old to start with

    Wilson fat shaft 10.5 driver
TM titanium 3w bubble shaft! so old there's no loft marked on it!
3-SW original ping zing KTM shafts (1992)
    john letters 61 wedge
    Wilson fat shaft putter
a few surviving titleist 90 professional and few balatas!
a packet of polo mints that expired in 2007! (no joke)

picked up a 2nd hand TM 2017 m2 with fujikura regular recently
(thats the start of my modernisation right there!
although my Zings arent going anywhere!)

    :D

Also picking up golf again after an 11 year break. Got to a handicap of 17 back then as a juvenile but who knows what I'll be when I get my new handicap.

I've only ever had hand me down clubs from my Dad and a few birthday presents but just last week went and bought a club myself for the first time. Didn't have a driver so picked up a Cobra F9 (a theme in my bag)

Driver - Cobra F9 w/ HZRDUS Red stiff shaft
3W - Cobra King F Speed w/ ADILA NV F Speed regular shaft
3H - RAM something or other, steel shaft.. Used to hit this better than any club
    4H - TM M4 22 degree w/ Fujikura Atmos Red regular shaft
3-9,PW,GW,SW - Cobra 3100 i/h steel shafts (my Dad went mad buying this set, all 10 clubs, I don't put them all in the bag)
Putter - Cobra Canberra - Xmas present, still in love with this club, don't think I'll ever change it

Still want to upgrade my SW and maybe get a 58 degree too. Used to have one but lost it along the way. Also would like to change to a stiff shaft 3W

You'll decrease the handicap no bother if you drop a wedge or 2 iron and add a putter!

9° driver and an x-stiff shaft, what's your swing speed like? Not having a go, just unusual to see a 22 hcp with those specs.

Swing speed is around 105-110. The driver was fitted in foregolf 2 months ago very happy with it. Its an inch shorter and set to 9.75

Not trying to be funny but that looks like a set for a 2 handicapper not a 22.
None of it is on the forgiving side.

    thanks

nope just for the past 3 years or so, really like their products and in fittings, they seem to get the best numbers for me, as I went from ping irons to x forged Callaway at first and slowly other callaway products kicked the other clubs out of the bag!

my Scotty was the last of non-Callaway club to go. A putter fitting did him in.

try ebay or golfbidder, what shafts were you fit in out of interest (great club btw)

Was fit for Project x 6.0..1 degree upright...heavier than what I play now but flight, distance and dispersion was perfect.

Not sure I want to buy secondhand tbh....I like shiney and new and it's been 5 yrs since I have chnaged my irons.

I can get them new from callawaygolfpreowned.com with a 12 month warranty, just not sure about the delivery time with them.

I've been offered another fitting session so might go back and try the T100's & Apex Pro....Tried the Apex forged but found the distance/dispersion was so much I would need to change the whole bag

Sorry for hijacking the thread :o
