Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For his value and points return, he's up there with one of my favourite FPL players of all time.

Lads, you do all realise that they are manually intervening in his price and not leaving it up to the algorithm ?

This is the exact same thing they did with KDB. They realise Tammy was underpriced and will not allow him to drop naturally unless its a longer term injury and will have less effect on the game.

I got rid of him knowing he would not drop by more than .1 or if I was very lucky .2 but with the uncertainty from Lampard I was happy enough to roll the dice on bringing in another striker.

Anyone know what the max ever rise of a player over a season is? I could see Lundstram easily hitting 6 mil by the end of the season

I would say his ownership is too high might Get to 5.4 or 5 but i think I'm the only brainbox that doesn't own him at this stage

Price swings aren't as dramatic as they used to be there have been lots of 2m+ rises over the season in seasons gone by.

Lundstrum better not pick up an injury. The loss in value to owners who sell him could start another credit crunch.

I'd say early Kane or Michu would be good shouts for the highest risers

I think Mahrez might have been the greatest ever riser in the season Leicester won the league.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,192 ✭✭✭Colking

I reckon Mahrez was up there, possibly Kane as second ? In terms of value for money though I think we'll remember Lord Lundstram till the stars burn out.

Kane went from 4.8 to 6m in his breakout year
    Mahrez from 5.5 to 7.2
    Vardy from 6 to 7.4

I suspect Ramsey may have had a similarly large move but he's gone from the game unfortuantely.

I remember having 5.5m left for a mid that year and looked on FFS to see this Mahrez lad plays AM position for Leicester and had a punt. Think he's one of the few players I've ever held for an entire season. One of my best FF success stories :)

Salah probably on this list the year he came up with 30+ goals.

I thought all players start at X.0m or X.5m ? How did he start on 4.8m? Or was it 5.0 -> 4.9 -> 4.8 and then he got playing?

Kane is memory, cheapest superstar I ever owned. The others if you go to the players profile, then their season history, you'll see on the far right the starting price and end price for each season

Michu is one I remember because I was one of the first on the bandwagon. Another was Yakubu.
Van Persie soared up one season as well.

Michu was the one that sprang time from fairly recent times.

In the early days I seem to remember team values hitting 130-140 must have been a few from those days that hit 2m+ in the season.

Were the price change rules and transfers always the same then? e.g. you only get half of the price increase. My old brain cant remember back that far

I think there was always a tax on it can't remember if it always worked the same way or not. The algorithm definitely had more price rises though. It might be on fiso.
