I'm up to 102 million team value already. I normally struggle to gain value this fast this early so it's quite nice to get that bit of a value boost early on.

Sitting at 101.6 myself and very happy.

I can only imagine how you feel.

Team value and resale value can be very different though, 102m resale be very good

Maximum RV possible in the game at present is 101.1 so there's no one near 102.

Or it's a term for a fancy hat maker ;)

Today's is a Victor(ian) Door/Laporte, according to google... even though I would have called it Georgian. George Lindelof, just not the same.

Yea but having a team value of 101, doesn't really mean anything if your resale value is only 100.1 for instance.

Wahey I finally guessed one of the players right on first go, I like checking the pics here for price updates but it’s usually 6 or 7am when I check getting up for work and my brain is barely functioning but this morning as I was looking at them I had Roy Walkers words in my ear “SAY WHAT YOU SEE!” and I blurted out “DANIELS” like an absolute hero :D

    It’s gonna be a good day :)

I'll use any excuse to get him in! He's a player I love to have in my side for some reason.

He might drop yet but I found an article yesterday that suggested he was no longer injured and his injury was probably the main reason people were selling him. Playing as a striker and being classified as a midfielder in the game makes me think he is good value at 7.7m.

edit: Just read a post saying he is out for this week so a drop is more likely and might have to consider dropping him myself as my bench is so weak this week.

He is playing as a striker in a poor disjointed team
There are better cheaper midfield options than him who will stay fit for more than 3 weeks at a time

Thanks for the advice. Him being out has forced my hand on the transfer and I have replaced him with McGinn and used the extra funds to replace Dunk with van Dijk. Team looks a bit more balanced for the weeks games now.

My point was more that he should* have dropped at this stage, given the amount of transfers out.

*Think his ownership is less than half of what it was before he got injured. Even allowing for WC's, one drop would normally be expected.

The rates change if a player is injured if I remember correctly, so would need more transfers out than normal. Most predictor sites prob don't factor them in.

    I think

The surprise was not dropping when yellow flagged (75%) with his ownership.
Once he was confirmed out on Friday and got red flagged the delta ( non_WC transfers) increases big time I think.

FPLStats has an "explanation" for it based on the fact that he was a popular buy the week previous under their NEWS tab.

Not to have a go at anyone but I do find it slightly odd people get annoyed at non price drops for players, in the grand scheme of things whats it ever going to cost you.

It's just unquantifiable what a players non dropping might do to a team.

And given these all run off algorithms that are just picking the most likely scenario, its not mental to think they will be off from time to time.

Its far from an exact science from my reading, and I know (think) the, he most been owned by fpl people is a joke

You are getting a free predictive service, that for most parts is guessing off team values and players values, increase decease values.

Its kind of like brexit or trump at times, **** happens algorithms can and will be wrong as you cant get the exact changes everyone makes in every team

Unless you bought at 12.3, you haven't seen a drop on him yet.
Anyone with him from the start is still in profit.
