Yeah technically its a action movie. My favourite of the Alien series though.

It’s an action horror. Horror can merge with other genres.

    The Thing

    Lost Boys

    Aliens

It was my pick so I do agree with you at the end of the day :p

Lost Boys and Aliens obliterate their Japanese opponents and march onwards.

(I was actually considering disallowing Aliens based off it's IMDB classification BUT it had a number of nominations, so screw IMDB in this case :P)

Thing leads 4 - 1 I'll give another few mins for that to resolve

I feel bad voting down some of these films when I have classics like, "the brain that wouldn't die" on my shelf...

Havent seen Audition but TLB is one of my picks.

Classic 80's cheese. Great soundtrack, great characters, just a fun ride from start to finish.

    Vote the lost boys

Again havent seen jun on but saw the US remake.

However Aliens is a classic, in the top 5 best sequels of all time.

    Vote Aliens

I mean, it was fine. But nowhere near as good as I had heard it was.

This seemed to work well so let's keep it going, double trouble for ye again.

Reminder to try and give reasons for your answers, I'm not being too strict on it yet but will be once we reach the quarters :)

Of the movies mentioned so far, the decent is the one I will revisit first.

The cabin in the woods, a fun film were the cast are horrow aware (like scream)
28 days later, when zombies actually are worth running from, and not just walking away slowly from.

The Others was good. I like a bit of a twist.

28 Days Later. The way they explain it, it could actually happen and that's scary! Plus zombie films freak me out. Imagine becoming a zombie? It's not like a vampire or a werewolf or ghost or something. Nothing cool about it!!

28 days is the most believable of zombie films. But the World War Z undead are the most fearsome.

Wwz was the single most disappointing film I've ever seen, with **** zombies. So there!

It may have been a sh1t film but lightning speed human wall building zombies make me rethink my zombie survival plan.

28 days later. That opening scene through the empty streets is epic.

I'll have to think about the other match.

Yes I wasn't too fond of it either. They were too fast. I did like the cure/immunity idea though.

Urgh, need to think some on the first match as two excellent films.

On the second, 28 Days Later because it's brilliant.
