    The Ring ,
Just a spooky film , the blair witch was funny in parts .

    Jaws !!
What's not to love about this iconic film that made everyone afraid to go into the water :D

Ringu or happy clappy US remake? The Japanese movie was awesome and beats Blair witch. Climbing out the telly. Iconic. The remake added very little and lost something in translation. Blair witch edges the remake if only for that moment 20 minutes after the curtain fell when I realised "oh god, he was standing in the corner!"
Edit : Blair witch beats remake

Jaws for me. The music, the jump scares, swimmin wiv bow legged women.

    Remake, Banjo.

Ringu got nary a nomination surprisingly.

The Blair Witch Project was a good idea but a bit annoying.

I loved The Ring! Evil ghost kids are scary af.

Then Jaws gets my vote if not for the music alone.

Jaws eats Daniel Radcliffe for breakfast and the rest of the movie for brunch.

    6-0 whitewash.

Ring currently leads by, I think, 3-1

Looks like The Ring was too much for the Blair Witch. Probably shouldn't read into that anymore than is necessary.

    3-1 to The Ring.

Event Horizon leading 3-0, I'll call it at 6.25 if no more votes and we'll move on to the last match in this round.

And Event Horizon scuttles through 3-0.

Now prepare yourselves for the next one folks...

A beloved favourite is about to fall by the wayside..

Ok, and we've made it to the end

Of this round anyways. A lot of favourites and popular movies have gone to the wayside. Two remain to do battle.

    And they are:

Shaun of the dead scream is meh

:( I have seen scream so many times that I'm completely over it. Shaun of the dead is funny, but it's not REALLY horror for me.

I'm voting scream. The first time I saw it I LOVED it. The garage door ffs.

I had to go for an hour, but I would have voted the ring so I'm delighted it's gone through.

Shaun of the Dead. Without a doubt. Great, funny horror (see, horror can have mixed genres). Scream was good though, but Shaun is better.

    Two of my favourites!!!

Scream is great. I was shocked when I first watched the start and Drew Barrymore dies in the first five minutes!! It makes jokes and mocks horror films thoughout. It was so clever and there's a twist!!!

I have a soft spot for Sean of the Dead. It's like a romantic comedy with zombies. So many funny parts.

Need to think about this one!!
