Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it that Off the Ball has become its own company now and is now hired by Communicorp to do sports across Today FM and Newstalk and they can't afford to buy the rights.

Before that Communicorp paid for the rights.

    Just a guess.

That's my thoughts. Can't afford Saturday and Sunday. So ditched the one with the less listenors.

Radio influencers need to have social media interaction with twitter / Instagram etc

God forbid they have a show that people like.

I would love a programme like virgin used to have in the UK called rock n roll football....songs played and then abruptly interrupted with scores coming in. Then every so often they would do quick catch up of the scores.

    Absolute Radio do that

I was flicking through saturday. Both 2fm and today FM had the same hozier song on at the exact same time. There is literally nothing on a saturday afternoon to distinguish one station from another.

Gonna miss Lawros sarcastic replies to everything
    Not

Does Matt Cooper still talk to Lawro and Big Cas on Fridays? It was gas if there was an international coming up and Lawro in particular hadn't a clue what Ireland's form was like. Be as well to ask the cat.

Lawro used to be asked to come over and sit in the TV3 studio for CL games as well where he would describe the action with comments like "you can't teach your Granny how to suck eggs".

Big Cas used to give a free weekend "charity" bet prediction that hardly ever came in.

Never mind Ireland's form. He can't even name most of the players. :pac:

Probably thinks Duff and Robbie Keane are still lining out for us.
