    Hi all

I know the CAO offers will be available online for students on Thurs at 2pm but I'm wondering can we see minimum points for courses before then in the Irish Times CAO supplement and, if so, what time is it available both online and in shops does anyone know?

Somebody usually posts scans here during that night.

The points wait tends to bring out the eejits, so be careful believing what some joker says are the points. Wait to see a scan from a recognised poster, or the paper in real life.

Up to now, though, the offers have been released at 6 a.m.

Whether the new system means any change in whether points etc. will be in that day's paper, I have no idea.

Has anyone else seen anything about it?

college admissions officers know thepoints required to secure the last available places on offer in this round. These will be published in table-form in The Irish Times on Friday, August 16th, in the First Round Offers education supplement.2 days ago

So the papers will publish on Friday! - new system clearly

Was wondering if they would be in papers to-night / tomorrow morning all right.

With offers not coming out until 2 p.m., imagine the number of panicked calls / emails to the CAO before people even got their own offers. ;)

Unlike previous years, there's no way the Irish Times CAO supplement with the Round 1 points will be released tonight. A-Level results in the UK are only released at 12 midnight on 15 August, hence the later-than-usual release time of the offers.
