Well that's my plan for the day slightly thrown asunder.
    Health and Safety inspection.

In fairness they said everything was fairly spot on. But it's still an inconvenience.

Be worse I suppose if you had an accident and weren't aware of the accident potential.

I had to explain it in a health and safety fashion.
No smoke and no ammonium sulphate from slurry.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had the profitability they seem to think we have?

Any profit would be good at thos stage. The cost of compliance is huge and then they turn around and import from other countries with feck all standards

No, Iphone. When I take a picture holding the phone sideways/landscape and transfer it to my laptop it looks normal but when I post it here it's upside down. I read somewhere if you have the flash to the top it should stop it from happening but it doesn't.

Only it wasn't me . Greysides I'd expect!
I must be the least tech savvy Mod.

Lovely stock by the way. A good shorthorn cow is well worth having. Great cross with Charolais or Blonde. I'm looking forward to pics with calves at foot!

Would I be mad to spread a bit of nitrogen with a cold week promised next week. Ground condition is fairly good at the moment. Might not be after the weekend. Would like to have a bit of grass coming.

Well there's 40-80ml of rain coming first, so I doubt if the cold will have much effect on whatever little's left in the field after that!

    Hold.... HOLD...

Those two will be kept for pedigree breeding but I have three crossbred yearling that I will use BA on in time. Some of the best sucklers that I had were shxba.
Thanks Greysides for turning the pic.

Have been advised to use Receptal on a repeater
Is it 2.5ml @ AI and 2.5ml 11 days later?

Anyone have rough idea how much contractors charge to fence? Sheep wire and 3 strands barbed wire. I assume they charge by the meter?

Sheep wire plus 3 strands would be a bit over spec No? Usually one or two strands of wire over sheep wire. It’s about €6 a metre with grant spec. Well it was a year ago. Things might have gone up since.
