What do the people who steal the dogs do with them?

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,413 ✭✭✭✭Water John

Sell them to people who have no conscience or empathy.

You have until the calves are 120 days old instead of 42 days

Car Boot sale bargain ( I think anyway) from last weekend.
Slash hook head made by Chas. Whitehouse & Sons.
The firm closed in the 1950's, so it must be about 70 years old.
Lovely balance to it, compared to the junk you can buy today.

It's no wonder they're being robbed when fools are paying 1000 euro for dogs. And calves worthless. There's something wrong somewhere.

Know a fella who drove the length of the country to pay serious money and collect a pup, at the height of the lockdown.

What is wrong with people like. I see boyd barrett was shocked that entertainers and the like should have to get a job in another industry instead of staying on welfare. Some people seem to be living in a parallel universe.

Good to see the Dealer tonight (IFJ )calling Beef Plan for what it is.
They've been spewing a pack of lies for the last year and it's about time someone refuted them publicly.
It's time to reel them in now before they destroy the beef industry worse than it is .... sad lot

    Ah, you know ...yer man.
A great way of spreading gossip without having to stand over it.

    Oh the innocents.
They were easily led if they thought he was there to support them, he was there to get votes, no other reason.
I knew someone would do it and I knew it'd be him

Not sure if its six weeks or two months. Happened to me last year, tested and vet didn't turn up to read, due to snow. Had to wait the time.

It's usually 60 day's to the best of my knowledge but it can be reduced in certain situations.

Look at the price of dogs thread.

Dogs that would have been €3-400 are going for €1500-1800
Heard of someone recently who paid €3k for a dog.

Saw requests from some dog charity for people to stop buying dogs at the moment because it’s just driving on thefts and poor breeding practices.

Literally everything leisure related is massively inflated on price at present. I could probably see my caravan for what I paid for it 7-8 years ago. Considering it’s near impossible to get a pitch booking in Ireland until mid September it’s just madness.
