Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Women are annoying.

    Men are annoying.

And when they eventually replace us all with robots they'll be annoying too.

Both men an women are annoying.

Men annoy you by bragging about all sorts of stupid shít that they never actually did and just generally being idiots that think you're interested in their incredibly boring bs.

Women annoy you by taking the kids, the house and the car. But they do have lovely bottoms though ;-)

Seems to me 90% of couples are just together to annoy each other. 10% are epic lovers who do everything together, mostly foreign couples are like this, they walk hand in hand, Irish couple walk 20 ft apart.

Are these things they do everyday?

Irish couple walk 20 ft apart.

That's usually because of a court order :-)

People are not annoying when they are dead.

They are. They make a terribly annoying smell from under your floorboards.

I'd be wary of that 10%, something else going on there.

In my parents case its a carefully balanced dance of moral superiority.

Yep, 100% of the time. No man in history has ever sought conflict in his relationship.

And it's awful too the way a gun is put to these poor men's heads forcing them to be in relationships with women. :(

It's usually a nipple. Less threatening sure but waaaayyy more effective.

You're not allowed to bring alcohol into maternity hospitals regardless of what type of cardigan you've on. No wonder your good lady wife doesn't want you there while she's preggers.

OP she's obviously on the rag so you'll just have to deal with it and keep the head down until it passes. Buy her some chocolate that usually works.

You know you can stand up to your girlfriend and say, ‘I’ll wear what I like, thanks’.
I actually had a boyfriend like this who made comments on my clothes (so it’s not just women). I actually can’t remember how I handled it in the past, but I certainly wouldn’t put up with someone telling me what to wear now.

It’s actually out-of-order to be honest. So many people treat their partners like possessions and think they have authority over their behaviors.
It’s crazy that people put up with this kind of thing, to be honest.

My girlfriend had a hospital appointment and as a kind, generous and overall just super guy I said I would bring her. She says to me the night before “make sure you wear something nice”.

Oh did the letter from the doctor say it was a black tie event? Is the prognosis or advice or medicine prescribed going to be different depending on my clothes?
Firstly, do you think I’m going to turn up in pajamas ffs? Secondly, I went to work in the morning so she knew I’d be smartly dressed. “Oh don’t wear that wine jumper you wear to work”. For someone who is so concerned about what I’m wearing, she hadn’t noticed I haven’t worn that for months and it’s a nice jumper anyway.

Her comment had no impact on what I wore but when I collected her looking well, I’m sure she thought to herself, oh he listened to me, thank god I said something. Of course at the hospital most people were just wearing jeans, tshirt etc.

This isn’t just my girlfriend. You’d see plenty of examples of this kind of sh!t on tv or on nights out or in supermarkets. I’ve worked in a number of offices and plenty of women would tell stories about the stupid things they said to their partner. So what’s the reason for these kind of pointless comments? They enjoy telling people what to do, want to be the boss? Just enjoy annoying men?

Then she wants kids, starts wearing pjs during the day and won’t let you listen to Aphex Twin in the house anymore. Who needs that crap.

I had a girlfriend like that. They say sh1t to see if they can rattle your cage. And if it annoys you then they've already got the validation out of you. Whenever I get silly remarks like that from women, I usually throw in a "sweetheart" in my reply just to highlight their stupidity. Problem solved... no one likes being patronised.

To tell a story of my own, once when I was walking along the beach with her and a view others, I was skimming a view stones on the water. She walked on past me and with the back of her head to me, she said "you're not as good at the ole stone throwing as you were before". I was thinking "what?, have you been stalking me while I was throwing stones or something?" Can't a guy casually throw a few stones along the beach without being nagged.

This was one of the few occasions that I was witty enough to out smart her. I replied with "I'm still good enough to hit you in the back of the head though... don't tempt me!". She didn't like that one bit. But of course what she initially said made no sense... that's the whole idea. That's why she was walking away from me as she said it. She wanted me to shout after her "hey, hang on, what do you mean?", she wanted that attention. Now, if had made an equivalent comment to her, like say if I said "oh you're not as good at putting on your make-up as before", she could get quite hurt!

I've never actually heard women discuss how they deliberately plot to do this to their men. Do tell me more.

Maybe the wine jumper was a bit more of a purple shade and girlfriend did not want to be escorted to hospital by a human Barney the Dinosaur lookalike.

Na, it's been scientifically proven and it's universally accepted that women are more annoying. I'd say very few men would have the same opinion as you. Maybe just your mindset?
