An amendment to bring the May deal to another HoC vote as a way of justifying an extension request. It was added unchallenged.

    Corbyn sounding very statesmanlike

Corbyn & Labour will resist this election and either abstain or vote no - must be tough for then after looking for election for so long

Hard to believe this parliament was regarded as an inspiration to other democracies. Total circus now. Johnson himself even described the status quo as a "mess".

OK, apparently the Kinnock amendment simply gives a reason for the UK asking for an extension, with that reason being that it would be to give time to the HoC to pass the WA, or a version of it.

So basically it means nothing at all in real terms

It should not matter. A general election is inevitable. We just need to prevent a no-deal exit in the meantime.

    He got pummeled there.

The Kinnock gambit is actually very devious. It’s designed to split the anti Boris pact into those who oppose the WA and want a 2nd referendum and those who want to brexit and would be happy with the WA.

While these two camps are fighting amongst themselves Boris can sleep walk them again towards No Deal

According the the Guardian, Corbyn won't vote for a snap election unless no-deal is unequivocally ruled out. That way, it doesn't matter of Boris tries to move the GE date beyond 31/10, or even if the GE returned a Conservative majority.

if the UK can't sign up to a backstop that gives them no say but want to leave and can't then they surely can bring the EU to its knees to the point they are begged to leave
Just yesterday you were celebrating BoJo's great maneuvering and that this was all part of some great plan.

Today you're looking around for any possible spanner to throw, what changed?

These last few episodes of season 3 have been among the best stuff on television. And that plot twist at the end of season 1 with the DUP. Bravo. Just bravo.

The pictures they are showing of him, he looks like a school boy who was caught and is sitting outside the principal's office.

"I do think the Prime Minister has a tremendous skill in keeping a straight face whilst he's being so disingenuous". Brilliant line by Ken Clarke.

I love Ken Clarke, he is one of the politicians who is fit to be PM.
All this Brexit has done is allow the people with extreme views take over that party.
It is shocking the state of the current British government.
