39 with 2 off the bench from Cathcart so 41 with Zouma, Perez and Martial to play.

Trossard the hero of the day.

55 with Perez and Martial to go. Happy days

I don't think the rule works the other way round, i.e. if the ball accidental hits a defenders hand in the box - that won't be an automatic penalty will it?

I think they clarified alright that it is only if it leads to a goal
    Which is a nonsense really

There is no way Laporte meant that but it lead to a goal so intention doesn’t matter

If he does the same at the other end and takes it off the toe of an attacker to deny a goal then intention comes into it...............

Disappointing 34 with just Perez and Jota to go.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,377 ✭✭✭✭PARlance

53 with Henderson, Wan Bissaka, Martial and Perez to go.

More than HEWT, fix has me just outside top 6k OR at the moment.

30 with Lundstram, Martial, Perez and Dendoncker subbing in for Gomez to go.

28 with Tielemans and Jota to go.

    Fúcking grim.

Wood dropping tonight probably. And Taylor more than likely.

    Not good at all.

    Yup, it's in the laws.

Defensive and offensive handballs are different.

Same boat with 2 points less.

Watching the Liverpool match now...they were pretty much in control until Adrian brainfart.

    Salah anonymous

They were alright but they could and probably should have been a couple of goals down in the first half, its hard to judge the performance though, I know they are professional footballers but the game mid week couldn't have helped.

It was as poor as i'd seen them in a long while, Adrain passing will be giving the defence much more to worry about also.

    OR 6,675
By far and away my best start. Still have 4 to play so a chance of sneaking into top 5k.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

45 with Pérez and Norwood to go
MNF will no doubt harm my rank which is already only 465K
Lot of thinking to do but no decisions tonight

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,719 ✭✭✭dr.kenneth noisewater

40 with Shaw and Robinson to go. KDB and Pukki looking good on motd so far, will still get Kane back in for Auba this week but think he'll be going in a couple weeks to fund KDB

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

Just seen pukki s three finishes
Hope he doesn’t double rise by Monday

It’s a pity their defence is so porous as well Cos the wing backs are interesting

46 with Maguire and Perez to come.
    Definitely hewt.

    Just seen Cabellos 2 assists
Yeah I’ll be holding fire on getting him in with those fixtures ......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

Not quite sure why King didn’t get a penalty towards the end of the game especially with VAR
    Trezeguet just kicks him

    Also Wesley
Thank the good lord I reverted to a 5 man midfield instead of a 433 with him

Haven’t seen him this week yet but last week he couldn’t go to ground quick enough when ‘tackled’.

Will need a huge mentality change to be a player in this league.

Personally I think Palace will trounce the Blunts today.

    Regretting starting Lundstram

    48 with Barkely/Perez to go.

    Punt Captain Digne worked out

As long as Robinson scores a hattrick of consolation goals I'd be fine with that! :)

Just catching up on the Pukki party on MOTD. Newcastle were awful but he looks the real deal and took his goals well. Cantwell looks like he might be a playable option at 4.5. They will be fun to watch this season.

Where has cantwell come from ? Didn’t see any talk of him preseason whatsoever
    Has he previous ?
Could be a great option and double attack would not faze me from what I’ve seen

Played 18 times last season. Talented, but nobody could've spotted his start.

He's a local lad that has come through the youth set up. From what I've read, he was down the pecking order but then had a decent pre-season and got the nod. Competition from Hernandez gone now as he is out injured for 3 months.

    Interesting
I can’t decide on who to sell Liverpool defender for or indeed which one to sell
Might downgrade Norwood to Cantwell to raise cash instead
    Will watch Norwood first later

Cantwell will no doubt be welded to my bench though for any returns as I’ll prob have Pukki too!

Lundstrum starts again thank god. Finally get to see him play. Hopefully he plays well and that makes next weeks transfer plans a little easier
    Blades unchanged

Kelly also starts for Palace. Zaha in for ayew the only change. Again it would be nice if he played well.......

Just seen Rico didn't play yesterday, that him done or was there any reason besides being dropped?

Not really. He clattered Zaha from behind. Textbook yellow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

    Dreadful game
    Both teams solid
I won’t be starting Norwood again in a hurry that’s for sure

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Lundstram down.

No, I'm wrong. It was Fleck.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

Fleck off injured freeman on for sheff United
    Snooze fest

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

Fleck off injured. Freeman on. Freeman is better attacking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,749 ✭✭✭Dr. Bre

    Ah Fleck off..

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

Don’t even know what number or the shape of Lundstram. Been watching it 15 minutes now.

    Where is he

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

Norwood is as I feared my Tom Cairney Mark 2
    I’ll be rectifying that soon
Double pool defence May live to see another week now
Worst thing is I played him over Lundstrum
