I’m down in Div 7 currently, just naturally while doing objectives.

I love seeing super teams though. They are the “easiest” matches I’m getting. Loads of try hards who are super predictable in their desire to use “skill” moves every five seconds. I worry way more when confronted with weaker teams of people also doing objectives :P

Need one more squad battle match to finish Traglifico. Then am looking at what easy packs are available in objectives. Noted they have a few for using storyline players, so Zaha getting a run out for me.

I'm thinking we should see either the Premier League or La Liga League SBC today. Something to wipe people stocks of cards out along with the Messi SBC before FUTMas. We are due the Premier League PotM any day now as well surely?

Back down in Div 6 myself now too from doing objectives. Didn't relegate myself on purpose but was doing the Serie A and PL player objectives and just naturally ended up there. I must say, there are far less dickheads in the lower divisions, was getting seriously jaded with the 20 minute shush fests further up. You still get one every few matches but by and large most are happy to skip replays and only watch if something unusual has happened. And that's with me probably being annoying by pausing after a goal to sub a different player on.

I have my latest "conspiracy" theory though; the level of your & your opponents AI assistance is somehow linked to the rating and/or chemistry of the team you start with the person with lower rating getting more assistance. Like I was playing plenty of games with a lower rated starting team from all the ****ty Serie A forwards I was using with chemistry in the mid 80's and there were many games where it felt like I was noticeably getting all the AI "luck" i.e. where they'd have their top rated forwards bearing down on goal and constantly hit the post or my keeper was pulling off loads of one-on-one saves (Oblak > MAtS), my players seemingly on "high press" even though they're not etc. I don't take it as some sort of evidence that I'm a superior FIFA player to them because we've all had those games where suddenly for no reason our players can't pass and our forwards can't finish.

What took the biscuit though was a player with a proper super team (R9, Pele, Guillit, Messi, R7 etc etc.) rage quite when he was 6-0 down to me at half time. Something is seriously up with results like that coming out of the blue and makes me wonder if that's why all the "Rashford-Moura-Felipe Anderson-Gomez-Davinson" teams appear so good at times i.e. being rated 83 vs your 87/88 means they are playing with greater AI assist than you.

I’ve seen it since FIFA 14 I think it was that came out with the so called momentum script.
I was 2-0 up against a guy a while ago. Cruising it.
He has a far worse team than me. Breaking loose with Dybala and goes to play a forward ball to Aguero.
AI decides nah **** that and passes it back to my lone defender when the ball gets intercepted by his attacker and suddenly it’s 2-1. Cue a farcical amount of shots by my suddenly inept strikers and his 78 st is playing like bloody Henry.

It’s complete horse****. We all know it exists but EA keep denying it. Even mentioning scripting on their forums is an instant ban.

Yeah I’ve mentioned it before in this thread but it’s my first time playing FUT properly since FIFA 13/14. Back then if you were 3 up by half time you knew you were probably going to lose with AI shift that was going to inevitably swing the other way in the second half. The amount of 5-3 games you’d be involved in was just silly.

I might give that Sanson a run out for a few games, currently using IF Verratti for Mbappe's chem, Sanson is bigger and doesn't have the massive flaws (pace, height, strength and shooting) as Verratti. Has more overall stats despite being 5 ovr lower, and weirdly futbin has him worse than verratti in almost every position, regardless of chem style applied. Worth a punt anyway, I'd assume he'll be close to discard anyway... Verratti is like a sh/t Kante, I quite like him but definitely not perfect.

So we should get that hakimi sbc today, if ea were smart (and they usually are when it comes to market manipulation) they’d price hakimi so cheap that it’d skew the price of 83’s and 84’s like vardy sbc did.

Then the 83’s and 84’s would already be inflated going into the Messi sbc tomorrow and likely son sbc Friday.
I know both of these sbc’s will require high rated players but there might be a segment or 2 for 83/84 squads also just for them to fire in extra In forms

82 w/ a TOTW for Hakimi. The market is going to go mad tomorrow, and with FUTMAS starting Friday then it could take a really skewed shape for the next few weeks.

They didn’t make the hakimi card very good though.

Make it within reach so people have a Messi and prolong playing, or just price it near his 96 card like they’ve done in the past with neymar poty so people don’t really bother with sbc.

Not touching Hakimi, haven’t done any of the TOTGS stuff actually. Going to wait and see what tomorrow brings and then FUTMAS. Was in the process of trying to get coins together again after Black Friday spending and won’t have enough for Messi I doubt anyway.

Bought a decent amount of 86+ rated players just in case it’s only 3/4 teams but I’d say they’ll go with a few 87/88 rated teams padded out with the same number of 83/84’s and plenty of TOTW’s thrown in to all for good measure. Depending on what sort of PL POTM & FUTMAS SBC’s come out, the market really could go lop-sided for a week or two unless they flood the market with cards from cheap lightning rounds.

Even better was I went 2-0 up. His team had Rodrigo & Inaki up front and as soon as I went 2-0 up my players all turned into scarecrows. Both his goals came from Nesta being left in a 2-on-1 against the above 2 while the rest of my team sat in the stands. Both goals he did full celebration, replays, and then that annoying 10 seconds of following the player up close when they walk back to the halfway line.

Ashley Barnes banging in my 8th goal was particularly sweet.

Jesus ****in Christ the scripting is unreal this morning.
Every goddamn game I’ve gone 3 or 4 goals up and then the AI has ****ed me over in the second half every single time. I lost every game by 1-2 goals and all were high scoring.
Every single goal conceded was my player suddenly and inexplicably passing the ball diectly to my opponent.
Add in the ridiculous induced player switching and the comical own goals and I’m lucky I still have a tv and a Xbox.

Player switching is the one moan I see on here and reddit that I agree with all the time, it's absolute manure. No idea why either, I know it's more important now with more manual defending so maybe I notice it more, but in previous years it didn't seem this bad.
