    Northern Ireland should be nuked.

We'd all get on so much better on these islands if they didn't exist.

I've always held a strong dislike for nordies, whether they be unionist or nationalist. From their dour demeanor to their ridiculous accents.

What about us , from say a mile so so south of the border. With lovely northern-ish accents? We we live??

We will tolerate you to an extent.

Just tone down the accent and drop any hint of that sectarian sh1t which still lingers in the province.

Shaving in order to mark out some of things above are identity marks, which aren't the same thing as fashion, but in any case, hobbies aren't fashion, quirks aren't fashion, preferring your chin to be smooth instead of hairy isn't a fashion. Not all preferences are fashion-related.

Sure. That's why I didn't call them fashions. I called them statements.

Fine but I was responding to a post about fashion statements.

Fat people deserved to be shamed.

It annoys me when I see some big fat one passed off as beautiful in some magazine because she shows off her rolls of flesh in a monster bikini.

She’s not beautiful, she’s obese. Fat shaming is important, because it might give people a bit of perspective that being obese is hardly good for you, or our health service for that matter.

There are other illnesses apart from mental health but you wouldn't know it because everyone seems obsessed with mental health

I often see land whales of one's walking the streets pushing prams and think to myself Who are the sickos that are nailing these land whales.

Men who are in need of visas to stay here. They target women who would never get to have boyfriends/husbands under normal circumstances.

Doctors should prescribe drugs like benzos and opiates more not less. Things like Xanax, Valium, and even Oxy are a godsend for anxiety and pain. Obviously not all the time but I figure we might actually reduce the depression in this country with prescription drugs.

I saw a stupid comment on a Facebook thread about cancer fundraising from someone saying "seems to be endless funding for it - how about giving some of that funding to mental health? #justsaying".

Whatever your bias is, that's all you'll see.

    People are getting stupider.
In spite of access to the greatest source of knowledge since forever, people are asking more and more silly questions.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Probably a popular opinion. I'm not sure whether stupidity is increasing or whether it's just more visible because of social media, but laziness definitely seems to be increasing.

    More visible in my opinion

Social media, YouTube, comment sections on websites etc give the utter dregs an outlet to be heard more than in the past

That's not so much an unpopular opinion as much as just being completely wrong.

Are you honestly saying that schizonphrenia and bipolar disorder don't exist?
They do exist but they're not mental illnesses. They're side effects of physical illnesses.

maybe we didnt know how stupid we were, since we didnt have as much communication before the internets

It's crude and abrasive. Similar to the chafing affect felt by the land whales thighs on their daily stroll to purchase 20 Benson and Hedges.

You can sing that, i live with chronic pain, this country is the polar opposite of the usa, a deeply puritan attitude prevails in medical circles when it comes to prescribing pain meds, enduring the pain is viewed as being good for the soul

When you live with pain constantly, it's unimportant if you become addicted ( vast majority won't), all that matters is the pain goes away

The death of faith and religion has made people and society extremely unhappy.

It's a reason for the mental health issues in the young. They've rejected their beliefs for political correctness and materialism. Then they can't find their own purpose in the world and this causes anxiety.

Some what disagree there, I'm agnostic, and I'd say my mental health issues are largely due to genetic disposition, and the fact I went most of my life without being diagnosed with autism and dyslexia, but of course I cant speak for all others with mental health issues

Tranquility base hotel and casino by arctic monkeys is the best album of the last ten year and their best album. You have to listen to it a few times to get into though and nobody wants music that isn’t great on the first listen anymore.
This leads to nothing changing in music and safe singles that sound like the last single being released forever.

    Autism and dyslexia aren't anxiety.
