Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mortgage for a wooden house

    I am trying to find a mortgage lender for a wooden house. My current bank has said no.
    We have 2 insurance companys that will insure
    It is on an acre land so that should also be worth something.
    Built on cement block.

    I would appreciate any assistance

    When you say wooden house, do you mean a proper Timber Frame house or a log cabin that's generally used as garden rooms and sheds?

    If its a log cabin, then no bank will mortgage one as its not a habitable building.

    Maybe you can post a link to a product that you are considering.
