Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This could be short and sweet or drag on for 3 years :)

What, if any , are the potential implications of brexit on English (and the rest of the uk I suppose) football? Can we expect any law changes, mainly with regard contracts I'm thinking? Could the Bosman stuff be ditched potentially?

Will there be less Irish lads brought over to the UK?

Presumably will be harder/less attractive for EU footballers to play in the UK so you could see more Irish lads being brought over (as they won't be restricted in anyway).

UK football authorities will still need to abide by UEFA/FIFA rules (which includes the Bosman) if they want to continue to play internationally, so I can't see much changing outside of things like work permit rules and internal squad ratios.

The Common Travel Area between Ireland and the UK predates the EU and will still be in effect after they leave.
