Waffly irrelevant intro
I've been playing the games on boards for a while now and having great fun, so I thought I should try to contribute too. Go easy on me, this could be a car crash!

So, I was in my local record store thumbing through the vinyl like a cool dude...

If you look at that picture and think "That's the cover to DJ Shadow's Endtroducing" this game will be right up your street! If you didn't then it still will be!

...and I started thinking about iconic covers (by the way, none of this story is true) and that turned into a quiz, and that turned into PEEHS!

The game!

• Standard PEEHS
• For newbies, think Pointless. Each answer you give scores 1pt for everyone who gives it. Lowest score wins. Incorrect answers score 1.5x the top answer
• Same question every time - name the artist who recorded one of these albums...
• There's 15 sets of 8 album covers. I've zoomed in on bits, sometimes I've found the original artwork so there's no names visible, sometimes I've opened paint and just messily hidden the names. You'll see.
• So I want 15 answers from you, artist only (no need to give the album title)
• Send them to me in a PM, preferably with nothing but the answers so it's easy to copy
• As normal for PEEHS - no research - no google, no reverse image searchs, no thumbing through vinyl at your local record store like a cool dude

More irrelevant waffle

• There are 15 categories. That started because I liked the animal theme early on, then gave me something to focus on. The categories might help you a bit but don't get too caught up on them
• Many of the albums could easily have been in a few categories, so don't think an answer's wrong because, for example, it's an Irish artist but not in the Irish category
• A few artists come up twice, so don't exclude someone because they've already been. I don't think any come up three times, but I'm not ruling it out!
• I tried to cover a few bases but it is naturally biased to my taste. I really hope everyone can get a couple in each category at least, that was my aim (as well as there being some tough ones). If I've made it too difficult I'm sorry

Question 12: Plenty of action, massive attraction, when you're selling out stadiums (Acts that have played Croke Park in the last 10yrs)

Question 13: It was acceptable in the 80s (80s albums)

Question 14: Brit poppers, show stoppers (Britpop albums, my era!)

Question 15: The last of the Irish Rover (last question - Irish acts)

I know most of them already, will now take the afternoon sitting in the roasting sunshine with a nice cold beer deciding which could be least known.............

Oh I am so in for this. Did rubbish in my first game of Peehs, here's hoping I do a bit better this time.

I take it back. The first set i hadn't a clue, but i just looked over the rest and I do know at least a few. So I'll play

I know hardly any of them, but i'm tempted to enter just to boost up the bottom of the table and see what kind of answers I can come up with for the ones I don't know. :pac:

This is cool, I know just enough to play but not enough to win... but then you go Wait a second! I know that hand / sheep / street! Might need to take a few passes at this.

I'd be surprised if there's anyone who can't get at least one in at least 10 of the catagories. You guys need to hero up and take the hit so the obvious answers don't get Peehs'ed by all the hipsters avoiding them!

In! Great game. Might have gotten a couple of converts at work too who were watching over my shoulder and wondering what the hell I was doing.

Not including my rationale for choices is killing me. I need you to know how many of them I knew and how awesome I am But I've learned my lesson about in-line notes....
