Brexit - Software needs

    Hi,

I have a small, long-established software consultancy business - specialising in "cloud" based solutions.

We are all familiar with the politics of Brexit!

However, is there likely to be a sudden rush for new software ?
Will existing businesses need new systems to handle import/export?

Could anyone suggest how I make contact with businesses that will have such a need? Any thoughts out there?

I am more targetted at the quick fix software - and have no great ambition to develop complex sophisticated systems.

So you have no idea what is needed, who the customers are and we're supposed provide you with answers for free.....

Maybe start by talking to your existing customers....

Brexit will not create new import or export conditions for businesses that are already in existence. Brexit will effectively be dealing with countries outside of the EU, and is a change in the VAT treatment and import duties etc, which will be dealt with by agents on entry to Ireland.
