Okay, Gentlemen; Some time since decided to stop trimming to stubble and let nature take its course.

Kept a sort of photo diary, as I was having a laugh with an online mate. Monthly shots showed it was definitely extending at a steady rate.

But, no more I honestly couldn't say I've noticed anything in six months.

I can't see, or feel split ends. Just, folk lore suggests having it trimmed around the edges should invigorate it?

One of these days then, I'll spot the barber with his feet up. Then, I'll dash in there and ask for a light trim

Anyone have anything to add?

I have no idea if trimming stimulates growth. But I do trim mine and it keeps going and going so maybe it does.

What I came here to say is don't be afraid to trim it yourself. My experience with barbers, in general, are they never hit the length you want. The trick is, oil it, brush it, shape it, then trim... repeat. I probably do 2 follow-ups after a main session especially for fly-away whiskers, bits you missed, and to shape it just right. Then I ignore it for a month.

As they're coming from China I ordered like 3 sets of each and that's probably less than 1 pair from Amazon (but the same thing). Handy to have a set for travel, one in the bathroom, and one spare since my wife is constantly stealing them.
