What else was he supposed to do? Wales had an overlap.

Seriously, what was he supposed to do?

    Not be so handsome.

Should have been a penalty there anyway. Second movement to crawl to the line after Ringrose tackle.

    He clearly had momentum.

Ringrose not great again since he came on. Some missed tackles.

Luke McGrath was great there - for a small guy he seems very strong.

    Redemption for Mcgrath. Fair play.

That was brilliant from Ringrose and McGrath

He didn't. He propelled himself forward.

Jumped into the tackle. Nothing Aki could do.

He held his line and got his man, who threw a suspected forward pass because of the pressure put on him.

Kearney is nowhere near at fault for that try. It’s the same bull**** aimed at the same players all the f*cking time.

    What can Aki do there?

    It’s pretty clearly a penalty

    Right call

Can we? YES... is it ? ... YES

You should not get an advantage cause your mate threw a crap pass

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 392 ✭✭Sephiral

Correct call. I thought he knocked it on before Aki tackled him tho.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,738 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Fair call. Not much Aki could do about it really as he had committed.

  • Site Banned Posts: 12,341 ✭✭✭✭Faugheen

It is a penalty. There’s not much Aki can do in that but a penalty nonetheless.

Bull**** call. No need to jump for a shoulder height pass. Poite is too easily fooled.

We’ve been abysmal since we scored. Thrown the top ranking away.

It is a pen but I never understand it. Fair enough for a kick, but you jump for a thrown pass you should be allowed to be hit.

You can't jump into a tackle without the ball. The decision was both jumped for the ball with Ali making a tackle while doing so, hence only a penalty

    What did Poite say?

Yeah, my feed didn't have any audio from the ref or TMO

Who cares about the ranking? The team is struggling to put performances together, means nothing.

And no way would we deserve it or be able to handle the pressure of it. So really hope we dont get it

So luke mcgrath misses a tackle that costs us a try, minutes later he makes a brilliant try saving tackle. People comment on both... Perhaps look up the definition of "fickle"!

Well it’s more the fact that it means we’ve imploded again. 19 up against 14 men and we’ve been totally outplayed

Score aside I wish ireland could find this level of heart and concentration in the second half. Wales own this. We can’t it seems.

In fairness to Wales, they really stepped up after half time.

2nd half appears to be wiping out any restored confidence

This is another very worrying second half performance against a complete second team from Wales.

We haven’t had possession apart from that 5 minutes of scrums and never had any sustained pressure in attack through moves from our backs.

Perhaps don't be taking personal offence to a post with several users posts quoted showing how quick opinions were changing. If anything Carry was more responsible.

The subs, in the majority being the first choice too.
An absolute clusterfûck of a situation

Best has won two turnovers since coming in.

Much bigger issues in this game. Where is Tadhg Beirne for example?
