Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ooh nice choices, mid morning slump will be banished :)

Getting ready for a walk. Another few minutes and I'll be ready. Insides have to rearrange themselves a bit lol. Sunny, cold. No snow. Chose some Christmas presents earlier. The kind of thing I'd buy now is so different to what I'd have bought 5 years ago.

Is it just me who likes matching gifts to people regardless of current relationship state? For example I know it sends mixed messages but I saw a couple of things my ex would like. Also bought him an adjustable arm support recently. I know it's maybe a bit strange

Guys finished the drainage on my roof yesterday, so the monsoon rain certainly tested it.

Heading to Sligo for no logical reason, but as my house is still a construction site, there is no point staying in dublin for the weekend, 2 nights Sligo then ???, thinking letterkenny

Home side. Very productive day. Feeling very sad though. For someone else. Was to spend the night with OH at his place, we kind of split our time between here and his place until we have our own built (or whatever we do).He would understand if I'm quiet but I need solitude.
Going to have a look at what the Wherers are up to now.

Relaxing in front of the fire after a busy and productive day. It was a lovely bright day and the north wind wasn't as bad as the forecast suggested.

It's good to have a day like that though, get yourself really down. From there the only way is up. But the sadness of a breakup can eake a wee while so hang in there.

I am having a post meal rest. Awwwwwww.

I avoided music for about a month after I was ditched.l (1st time in my life, took that one a bit hard lol) Nothing to evoke memories. But they say it's better to feel the feelings and get them done with. Makes room for the good feelings on the way :)

Couchside relaxing by the fire. Have a half group/half individual project due tomorrow that was stressing me earlier because the group hadn’t done their parts and I didn’t fully understand what we had to do. But today we all got organised, have done or at least started the work and now I’m now worried about it anymore :)

Gotta admit that I don’t understand my builder, my experience in aircraft project management is that A follows B and then C, you know this from the start and plan accordingly. My builder seems to like doing A, then thinking about B. So there is no way that I shall have a completed house by the end of my vacation.

There are much warmer places where I could have spent my vacation.

    Humbug.

Neighbour and myself had a long chat last weekend on this very subject.

Your builder will only leave when either

    a. There is no money left

    or

    b. You move in ( even if its only half finished )
