Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Good answer, bad enough coverting with the enemy, without looking to swap allegiances too.

I spent a summer near Clonakilty in my youth (does that qualify me) but always a Dub and always drinking the Lyons tea.

Reclinerside watching a documentary on BBC4 about the Blue Note record label and tapping my foot to the jazzy sounds. Had a couple of glasses of White Bordeaux and them and the music are helping to chill me after a tense day.

Apparently I have miles to go before I sleep.

I've been fiddling with a sheet of paper. I made a fortune telling...thing?
It's like a paper box that opens in segments. Muscle memory made it for Me, but I can't remember the predictions we used to write on each segment. Back in the days of blue Maybelline mascara, before the horrors of contouring and lower arm and face 'planing' (shaving) were invented for women. When all this was just fields etc. Etc.

Can I have some of that coffee?

Deskside, on the one day of the week I've no lectures, seminars, meetings, or office hours and I can actually get some work done

So of course I've spent the past 30 minutes catching up with various Boards threads and completely ignoring my overflowing email and the piles of paper covering the desk

I think I successfully unsubscribed from Winter! It's so gorgeous around here today. I even have a spring in my step to go with the spring weather.

I'm drinking Lucozade, which I only do if have a very sick stomach or I'm very tired, and tea. I had a little setback with something I was working on so I stayed up until I'd rectified that and then I got to bed at 5.30 Am and got up at 6.40 Am.

If you go a while without sleeping (or eating much) you can become a bit floaty and sort of feverish. It's not a state I'd aim for but I do find it very good for creative work.

I had one of those in the bathroom a few days ago - frightened the life out of me!

Had planned a productive morning involving lots of outside jobs - but no sooner had I started, down came the rain - so now I'm back inside, wasting time on boards, waiting on Phonewatch to come and fix my alarm that keeps setting itself off, even when not armed

But I changed the bed and tidied up, so when I get home from work late tonight a clean bed and bedroom awaits - pure luxury!! :)

Deskside getting frustrated with an out of date piece of software.
Another damp day up here, but not too bad and I managed to bring the doggos for a walk without slipping in the mud.
