I am out in town tonight but I doubt I’d be ready by 8:30 and secondly I would suspect I’d be coming home with a charge sheet if I partied with you :D (edit because I’m an idiot not because you’re trouble!)
They do say never meet your heros :D
'Partied with' is a term thrown around quite loosely. No charge sheet for you at all lex, clean bed sheets maybe but eh charge sheets? Nah I got the gift of the gab when it comes to the men in funny hats.
@trig if you change yer mind you know where I'll be at. If yer stuck for few bob I've a ticket for ya, and enough beer vouchers to employ a Filipino man servant for a f#"n year.. and sniff, loadsa ****in sniff.

    @Eleysian

The pics of what I went through hardship to assemble. Yeah they look easy when put together, but coming out of the box it's just unrecognizable bits of wood. The next tables were easy though. The coffee table was bonkers stuff.

You're a solid skin Harry but I was left in charge of the 9 year old and he is not yet partial to malt, rye, grape or yeast based drinks. Enjoy.

Got this Spotify Wrapped email today - Seemingly I listened to The Tractors the most. I think it was Deja Boo mentioned them and I played an album to death for a couple of weeks.

Mine was the late great Mac Miller CH, definitely thanks to his Swimming album which I played to death..... I'm also genre fluid....hey baaaabes! :pac:

I am the flat pack joker so.:o But with Mrs G's plans for a refurb of sorts, I'll be getting lots of practice.

A few beers and then my share of a really good Chinese style chicken curry with rice and chips. More rogue chili in it too!

The key is to identify all the pieces before you start and follow the instructions. If you are anything like the men in my life you skip that bit and then wonder when it doesn’t work! :pac:

And dowels! I've lots of dowels left over. I always lay it out in pieces, but I always struggle come assembly time if certain bits don't fit. But fair play to Jysk, awkward in spots, but worked.

Don't be worrying about buying presents , just get through the funeral , and once you're all together at Christmas, that's all that matters Sky.

Not much money here either , so I get a big box and pick up bits in the sales throughout the year and throw them into it . Usually when Dunnes have things for two/three euros :D

Murphy's law...the one night was tired enough to go to bed early is the night my parents went to the parish senior citizens Christmas party so had to stay up to collect them.

Dragged my weary ass up to my bed to discover that had forgotten to re-dress the bed having stripped it today. Just finished making it up and rolled in. Was worth it.

    Night all. Sweet dreams. X

Bedside feeling slightly emotional. Myself and the ex have had an ongoing back and forth about him wanting to get back together and me saying no. We’ve rehashed what went wrong and how it could be avoided and just talking about it has brought old feelings up. It’s also hard to tell someone you still have love for no, especially when you know it’s going to hurt them. Wish he’d never brought it up :(

I'm sorry he's there wanting to get back together when you're feeling strong kitty. I ended a marriage this year and it's looking like I need to end a relationship now too. My heart hurts. I'm tired.

I was torn from a delicilus sleep, arghhh. If you go back to sleep at 5am, it's harder to get up 1 1/2 hours later.

    Edit: delicious, haha!

Kitty...I used to say, you can't step in the same river twice, but I'm reunited with my ex (gf) now and we're doing it right this time and getting to know each other properly. If the will to do better is there then it's a good start. Sounds like you'd prefer to have a good friendship with him though...good luck with your decision...

Kitty, I'm almost in the same position. I see you, you're not alone. It's hard and tough but knowing your boundaries and what you really want and acting on that is the kindest thing in the world you can do for yourself. Mind yourself this weekend dear one <3
