Hmm I must discuss the merits of targeted shopping with someone i.e. Know precisely what you want - go to shop - pick off shelf and/or ask assistant - pay and out

Is that sirens I hear?.... :pac:

Let them shop, let them eat, let them all have fun! It's all cool if you want it to be whether your a woman or a man. I'm a man that likes shopping on my own, with kids or Mrs G. Absolutely no problem with it. I would shop with anyone! Groceries. Clothes. Furniture. Whatever. Shopping should be a cool experience.

I like this sentiment very much, and not only because I'm an accomplished clothes shopper...quite a good outlook for life!

Nope Sky. Nothing wrong with a good cry. I'm trying as always to be positive at this time of year, but work wears me down. The personal stuff is easy for me. But the work crap makes me realize that Christmas doesn't really make much sense to a lot of people. That said I'm sure the personal stuff can be crappy too as I had it and left it behind years ago.

    Positive vibes to you.

I loved that the roxette greatest hits album was called 'don't bore us, get to the chorus' or something like that.. They were definitely a secret listening pleasure of mine..

I'm on Mars, the Planet Mars via The Martian Chronicles. A very old TV show/film from 1980 based on a Ray Bradbury novel. Easy and hard viewing, but easy if you fancy bed.:D Some snack food first!

The Martian Chronicles came before F 451 but were somewhat bitty and didn't really get it together until later. Track it down for a read. There's an audiobook online that runs to 9 odd hours. The TV series glossed over lots of stuff, but still irks me. Bradbury was a real SciFi legend.

    Is it cold there?

Am probably too tired for stories. Have spent the last few hours writing 4 articles about nasal congestion, about 3000 words in total. All I can think of are stuffed noses.

My friend who was to be induced today is going to be induced tomorrow instead. She started her text telling me this with "want a shock?". My heart went crossways for a moment. My mind was going through the maddest possibilities and had just reached conjoined twins when she text again and clarified.

Doubt I'll sleep now :/ I'll make some virtual Barry's tea...

Bedside now listening to a podcast. Have decided I’m taking the rest of the week off college work, then on Monday I’ll try and start working on my thesis. So I’ve been enjoying a bit of free time to relax :)

It's good to plan some time off Kitty, assignments and a thesis are big drains :)

    Hotelside.
Back in Chicago. Which is cold and dry but fabulous as ever.
Listening to an old Chicago playlist that involves a lot of Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and Jamie Johnson. Not sure how location drives my taste in music but somehow it just does. :o
