Wrapping presents for the nice ones in my life with Xmas fm playing in the background and a drop of Prosecco to keep me lubricated.
I will be back to my normal grumpy self soon. Promise.

Finishing up at the tech desk. Feeling emotional. My last job in Ireland. London in the new year. So it's beer and steak time. A party for one!

Mmm tea.......hope your serving the good stuff 😏? Aka "Barry's" 😛

It is indeed Barry's, Seph :) The red box. I'm not sure if I'm kidding myself that it's different to any other tea, though. It's all just camellia sinesis leaves, nothing else. But Lyons always seems too strong or something. Maybe it's the differently shaped tea bags. *ponders *

At home now dolling myself up and listening to Brantley Gilbert's "bottoms up"

"I see you and me riding like Bonnie & Clyde
Doing ninety five burning down one twenty nine
She's looking for the law while I push my luck..."

No...really tarry and strong...that's strange that were getting different impressions. Sometimes I make tea with the teabag I'd just used to make tea for someone else, because the first cup is too strong for me. With Lyons I'd make two cups for others before it seemed mild enough for me to use.
I'm not sure if I'm making any sense, sorry. I've just cracked open the Malibu :D:D:D

Anybody can get a litter picker, gloves and a roll of plastic bags.

That poster would only start threads assuming lifestyles and societal norms based on finding a particular piece of litter.

    LONDON!

Finally getting appreciated for what I do and at my age I'm delighted. But the time away from my wife and daughter will be tough. However, it has to be done and that's me being a little selfish.

Not going to rap tonight. I did wrap earlier as all pressies have been delivered on time or bought in time. That's unusual here, and I think I have over done it to make up for the last few years of trying to forget Christmas.

Grandeeod I wish you well in your exciting new chapter for 2020 - it will, I'm sure work out for you and the family. Mam, Rocky! When Stallone was at his handsomest :)

I'm Reclinerside with a night cap, flicking the channels. Night everyone.

Couchside. Finally out wrestled the fairy lights :)

New phase Grandeeod. Enjoy Christmas and New Years, then on and upwards for you and so your family too I hope.
I'm moving to a new gig in Jan too - end of month though. Delighted with myself - less stress, less travel, less responsibility, more money :)

Bedside pondering. Slightly in the same vein as conversation here. I’m not one for the “new year new me” thing but I’m feeling good about 2020, I wanna make it my year, go after the things I want and hopefully get them.

    Positive thoughts :pac:

Sitting here waiting on the mutt to join me, clear skies, light wind and a cool 22 degrees.

I hate London Heathrow airport at this time of year, even in my fancy dress, but needs must.

Mutt has realised that I'm getting ready to go to work, so he has gone back to bed and is ignoring me :( Plus the jacket would be too big for him :)
