Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Got up early this morning. Stayed away from the oul interweb social wise. Got dug in work wise. Finished by 4pm and it's been social stuff and food since. People passing through for all reasons. Taking tomorrow off. Haven't had a holiday myself this year so taking days here and there. Tonight I drinking beer without guilt. Football soon. Girls fed and I'm having a christmas dinner of sorts later. Yes folks, it's Turkey, Ham, stuffing with gravy, mash and peas.:D

Somehow I always seem to end up here when everyone else is about to hit the sheets. Anyway, in the home office, just doing some lazy brainstorming with Dave Brubeck playing in the background.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Couchside with Prime Time on the box in the background. Met an old friend for lunch this afternoon. Great to have a proper catch up. Can’t believe it’s 6 years since we last met in person.

Fireworks in the distance outside. Hitting the hay around 1ish.

Bedside browsing boards.and catching up on the Wherers.

I got lots done today but my body seems to be grinding to a halt with rheumatic type aches and stiffness - I'm not a constant sufferer but it must be all this damp weather - I'm like the Tin man, I need more oil or possibly wine (roll on the weekend)

Having a giggle with a friend on FB. 're connected recently as she's gone to the UK. I was to move over there, but found I couldnt leave this country. She was a bit annoyed with my chopping and changing but we're sound again. She always has a way of turning a heavy subject into a hilarious comedy but with profound insight mixed in. Like a gust of fresh air blowing all bad humour away .

Shoes I hope it all works out ok. You sound like a great team from your previous posts.

I'm all for less packaging if people could be trusted not to be mingers!

Until then not buying anything that's not prepacked.

Sadly you are right, if people cant be trusted to be mingers then no way am i trusting enough to be buying unsupervised unpackaged food.

I dropped a line to the FSAI about this incident but doubt there is much they can do.

I've had a wash of drained feeling and a weird surging feeling in my head for the past few minutes. Be grand, just inconvenient. We're going for another woodland walk but, we have to find somewhere for dinner first. A pot of coffee would not go amiss.
