Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

VAR

VAR in prem league is there mainly to say its a goal or not, a penalty or not and it's a red card or not. Lots of penalty's are not being called because of "no clear and obvious mistake" by referee, even though they are penalty's.

So if they are not giving a penalty when it's a penalty the system is not working.

Can they have a meeting soon and fix it?

VAR is certainly experiencing teething problems, hopefully they will be solved over the course of the season/by next season.

Honestly, the only way this is going to work, is if they bring in independent people to look after VAR.

Refereeing is so bad in England because the referees are so pigheaded and you can’t have a conversation about them without having to acknowledge they’re doing a good job, even though they’re not.

Who would have expected the referees would be less pigheaded when publicly reviewing their mates’ work?

Kinda reminds me of the VAR in the Premier League thread.
