Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I’ve been with eir fiber 1gb and I’m pretty happy with it, although it’s costing me €70 pm. Siro are now offering me 1gbps at €25pm for 6months then €50 pm after. I’ll switch to siro to make the saving, but if eir cut me a deal close to what siro are offering I’d stay with them.

Anyone had any success getting a good deal out of eir??

    Thanks

    Val

Most Broadband providers would have some sort of retention deal. Eir may have something similar to offer you compared to SIRO. However, it is nearly always the case the best thing to do is switch as the best deals are aimed at new customers.

They have a loyalty team which is used to try and retain customers and you probably will get some reduction. What's turning me off is the notorious wait trying to get through on 1901 and a possible break in service if I move ! A switch to Pure Telecom would save me €240 in the first year though so I'm very tempted to move !
