Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

some form of thermal bridging leading to the edge of the glass being colder than the middle.
    DG or TG?

DG, brand new, centre parcs lodge.

So it looks like the spacer between the panes is conducting the cold.
Is it all the way around all the windows?
may need to reduce the water vapour load in the rooms

Broadest in corner then bottom, thins as it goes up left and right hand sides. Would spacer be visible? Only ventilation is trickle vent on window itself.

You sure there's no mechanical ventilation anywhere else? i.e. the vent wont necessarily be on an outside wall...

Fairly sure, it's either hidden or combined with fire/smoke alarm (doubtful)

Makes sense as the warmer air higher up can hold more moisture..
    That format is not unusual

    I asked about all windows?
    .
    .
What follows is for the experts here:
is it possible that the trickle vent is allowing cold air into the space around the glazed unit.
    Probably not

Is this a new house you built? What is the window supplier saying?

No it's a 2006 estate development. I want to make sure I avoid this on new build. Not sure who supplied windows but they are DG PVC with trickle vent. I *think* it has renson written on it somewhere.
