Apple Watch (Series 3) Won't Create Reminders

    Afternoon all.

    My watch has stopped creating reminders in the last few days. I've recently updated its firmware, so I wonder if it's related to that.

    If I ask her to "Create a reminder for 3pm today", she'll reply with "what's this reminder for?" (or something like that).
    When I give details like "Collect the kids from school", she'll say "Sorry, I wasn't able to create the reminder".
    Well, that's the text that appears on the screen. She cuts off after "Sorry, I was..".

    I've restarted both the phone and the watch, but no joy.
    Have also unpaired and re-paired the watch, but nothing.

    Any ideas?
