Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ref is blowing Dublin off the park

    Do you really believe that?

If there is only 1 point in it Kerry will be the happier team at half time. Dublin all the possession but doing nothing with that superiority.

He didn’t even play the ball?

And what about the deliberate elbow 5 seconds before that to the dubs player by that Kerry scumbag!?
Guess you’ll just avoid that one..... kinda like the ref

    It was Clifford

Dubs leaving far too many reasonably easy opportunities short or wide.

I really don’t have any idea what the rules on fouling is. It seems completely random.

I don't think the refs or the rule makers do either tbh.

Have you seen the ridiculous and lengthy wording of the tackle in the handbook. It's mental.

    This ref is a disgrace.

Lots of Kerry fouls not been picked up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,081 ✭✭✭hunter164

    That was a late hit?

Kerry on top here. Gavin should be worried at half time.

    Should have been a penalty.

    Blatant penalty

Dublin should have had a penalty there. All over him.

    Con fouled there.

Sorry, being burned by the ref again, clear peno.

I’d watch football every day if it was played like this. Belter of a contest.

Dublin are going to earn this 5 in a row the hard way

Super point from Geaney. Brainless from Kilkenny.

Lads Conor Lane is terrible for both sides.

A noting for dragging a fella down in on goal. And the dubs think the ref is against them.

He did'nt drag him to the ground.

    Shambles by lane
Donr Dublin in 3 points and a penalty

Never. But there’s the same tackles happening all the time here but most of them are being ignored. Just seems like the ref choose on a whim when a player hits the deck.

Jokes aside I have no idea how that Clifford forearm was missed, blatant as the day is long.

Tom O Sullivan is a lucky boy

Jesus the ref actually spotted a foul that time

About as much in that as in the last match and apparently that wasn't a penalty. So which is it.

That said, think the ref is erring on the side of not giving decisions as much as possible.

Really good first half. Some people complain about the refs in every game.

I'd agree, but you said Kerry's penalty last time wasn't a foul so....

19 points in the first half, think the highest scoring half was 2006, when it was 3-8 to 3-2, to Kerry against Mayo, don't think that'll be broken.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,085 ✭✭✭✭BonnieSituation

We're getting ridden. That was a shocking last 15 from Lane.

Great half of football all the same

Kerry will be happy enough with the first half - it looked like they'd be beaten out the gate in the first 10 minutes

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,196 ✭✭✭PressRun

Could nearly smell the fear off Lane when he thought he might have to black card Con.

Going by RTEs commentary Dublin have played the best football ever, and are 6755 points ahead

Cracking game of football. Some serious scores from play which is very refreshing to see.

Lads dropping balls short at this level is a joke, the goal two weeks ago came from that yet we've done it three times so far.

Mick Fitz very lucky to still be on the pitch, a black card in my book, should have accepted the booking with more grace rather than going to the umpires. I've never seen a ref change his mind.

Foul on Con far worse than the one given as a penalty two weeks ago, still think Lane is a better ref than Gough though.

Good game so far, up the Dubs

Will they replay the sneaky elbow from Clifford

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

The ref was Kerry's best player.

Mostly unless it's completely blatant that is what seems to happen alright.

This ref is shocking. He has given everything to kerry.
