If I’m not mistaken, There used to be a rule regarding the use of text speak on boards. Has the rule gone, because I have noticed a lot more people using it across several forums. It’s annoying and lazy.

I don't think it's ever been a site-wide rule, but a lot of charters used to discourage it (and possibly still do)
