Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

PSA: Back Up Your Steam Categories File

    After doing a reformat of my PC, I did my usual install steam procedure and point it to my secondary hard drive Steam folder.
    However this time something borked and I lost all my Steam categories
    I tried all the usual, restart Steam etc etc but they never returned.:eek:

    Luckily I remembered I had installed Steam on my laptop and I was able to retrieve a few weeks old "sharedconfig.vdf" file that stores your categories.
    Once copied back to to the right location I was back in action. :)

    So avoid the hassle and backup your Steam categories file "sharedconfig.vdf", every once in a while, especially as the new Steam client will be released later this month.

    The local Steam categories file is stored here;
    [Steam Location]/userdata/YOURSTEAMID/7/remote/sharedconfig.vdf

    Also, there is a cloud version on the Steam website that you can download;
