Nonsense. Maryland cookies with a glass of milk is awesome.

Aw, is that right, cutie? In your jammy-jams, getting ready for your beddy-byes?

    Are you flirting with me?

I'm telling my wife on you.

Maryland, a dynamite cookie for dunking in tea. Oreos have the worst of both Yankee chocolate and candy.

Emmet likes his biscuits like he likes his pillows: extra chewy.

A biscuit nerd with a wife? unlikely.

    I’m a, happily, married man!

Wife is a loose term these days right?

When I say wife I clearly mean legally binding contract through purchase of one of these beauties:

    I’m a, happily, married man!

The hesitant way in which this sentence is structured suggests it was written under duress.

Emmet, if there's someone in the room with you, just blink twice.

Maryland cookies are just barely less sh1t than Oreos,so I vote for the cookie.

    * hate them both

    Fox's Classic.

Great combination of texture and flavour.

Also ginger nuts are just...the worst.

    Ginger Nuts,

ALdi ones with a cup of tea are spot on

Fox's Classic. Fantastic biscuit. Ginger nuts are boring. Always depressing when you go to the biscuit tin at your ma's and there's only ginger nuts/rich teas in it.

Ginger nuts. Another great tea biscuit.

Also, the competition is a bar so can’t really vote for it. Lovely bar though.

Fox's classic are again excellent dippers. And maintain a crunch after.

Gingers, be it people, biscuits or cats have no place in society.

Ginger nut gets my vote. The small kick that the ginger gives is quite pleasing to the palate.

    Ginger nut.

You can dunk a ginger nut in your tea and it holds it’s shape. Then you can suck the tea back out of it before eating the mushy ginger goodness.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 51,461 Mod ✭✭✭✭Necro

As I said before ginger biscuits are an abomination and rumoured to have caused multiple genocides in Africa.

But Fox's are sh1te as well.

Fox's because of the Ginger Nut rumours. Can't be advocating that sort of behaviour.

  • Registered Users Posts: 35,024 ✭✭✭✭Baggly

Its ok if you need a minute to wrap your head around the idea of a biscuit coming in a non-round shape, Emmet.

You and the sucking again. What's that about?

Are you still talking about biscuits here Strawbs

    Oh man. Oh man.

This is a tough one for me. Can't believe two stalwarts such as these have come head to head in the first round.

Ginger Nuts have kept the dental industry alive and well in Ireland for years to come. If there's ever a nuclear fallout they should distribute these bad boys instead of iodine.

But Fox's Classics are as close as I'll ever get to what I imagine it feels like to dream of owning a Rolls Royce. So, with a heavy heart, and over crowded mind, I vote for the Classic.

Fox’s again for me. Ginger is gick.

  • Registered Users Posts: 35,024 ✭✭✭✭Baggly

6-4 to Fox's by my count.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,278 ✭✭✭dinorebel

Ginger Nuts sounds more like an unfortunate condition than a biscuit but still wins as the opposition is a bar.

    Ginger nuts win.

Simply because someone has to be kind enough to love the red headed stepchild.
