Ahh yes, threat of physical violence

    No surprise

As stated earlier, you're not worth it.

But congrats on being the very first poster that I've ever put on ignore.

Nobody cared when a convicted rapist Akinade played for years with Bohs and Waterford in LOI for years.

    Why all the outrage now?

Theres still a protest going ahead. There’s plenty to talk about.

Interesting. Do you have a link? Is there a facebook event or something like that?

That's one way to stop you having to admit your posting a pile of rubbish

You could be forgiven for assuming that many on the left only care about violent crime when it's committed by a middle / upper class white person. Others seem to get a free pass.

he was found not guilty as opposed to innocent. you dont get found innocent.

He seemed pretty vile regardless. Dont agree with protesting him playing though

Those laws only apply within criminal proceedings. A prosecution.

Sexual assault is a crime, obviously.
The linked Ehcr law states quite clearly that youre innocent of a crime until proven guilty.

    This is a human right.

    Correct.

Your presumed innocent before the case and your innocence is maintained after the aquital.

Our system is far from perfect, but its the only one we have.

If he is truly innocent.... Leave him be but if he truly did wrong then that's on him and the justice system.

It's a legal system not a justice system.

i think these puratins would get a bit of a shock if they ever learned of some of the thoughts that have gone through their fathers'and brothers' minds.

Not sure what else you expect from asking people to prove your imaginary legal protections don’t exist. Unicorns don’t either, and no-one needs to go on a safari to demonstrate that’s the case.

Again - there is no presumption of innocence outside the defense in a court trial.

Read the link again. The laws only apply within a prosecution. There is no presumption of innocence outside of that which applies to a defendant in a trial.

And your hair would probably go grey if you knew what your mother was up to nine months before you were born!

I can’t link to it but it’s on corks 96fm Facebook page. Go back a week or so. There’s also links to the organizers personal page. It’s all man hating stuff on her page. Sorry I can’t link to it.

I draw similarities to those protesting at Pence's visit. Same gang aren't so visible when the members of the Chinese administration visit.

First they came for the socialists...

I'm gobsmacked that right now 368 people voted that he was found innocent!!! 368 people that don't know that it's not possible to be found innocent in Ireland or the UK. That's 368 people that have never served on a jury I assume

Think you might be overreacting there are only two options to vote and that’s the one that’s closest to what people think.

That's a cop out. One has nothing to do with the other. I suppose they should be dressed in coal sacks and living at the side of the road to be legit.

Those 368 people don't seem to have the law degree from the institute of Tabloid newspapers that you have :p

A lot of rape victims go to protests like this and I would say Paddy Jackson knows it. Or at least i hope he knows when he is out there playing with that ball.

I really hope he knows the people 'harassing' him are victims of rape and that long term ....its not a wise life decision.

    And yes its sad. Shrug.

    Really?

    How do you know that?

I don't know what you mean by cop out however I believe some things seem to be more popular to protest against than other maybe more pressing issues.

I haven't voted because there isn't an option saying that he was acquitted or found not guilty. I'll be damned if I'm putting my name stating he was found innocent when he wasn't. I also believe the law has spoken & he should be left alone. It's not up to me to second guess a jury that heard all the evidence

I also haven’t voted, mainly because it’s meaningless nothing to do with the wording of the options

Law degree I don't have but I've spent time in different courts around Dublin. It can be a fascinating day out. Even the SCC can be interesting
