Nah mate stop the mental gymnastics. If someone in real life outright declared themself a fascist in my presence I would verbally/physically attack them. There is no leeway with fascism. If this ideology gets it way it means genocide in all cases, no exceptions.

Paradox of tolerance mate. You cant tolerate intolerance.

You are declaring yourself totally intolerant of anyone who disagrees with you.
So you are equally deserving of the good beating/thumping/**** kicking that you feel justified in meeting out to others.
    Ok mate?

By that logic he's racist against whites too as he also questioned the eligibility of Ted Cruz with regards to his place of birth:

Trump says whatever seems to him to be politically expedient at the time. He doesn't really have an agenda motivated by a particular bias (or if he does, that bias changes with the wind).

There’s literally nothing wrong with deplatforming/humiliating/beating up anyone who claims to be fascist.

If you disagree, you’re just an edgy contrarian.

Or someone who believes in Law and Order.

Lol nah mate, thats just your weird fantasies. In real life both the soviet union and the united states tore the fascists a new asshole.

This is undeniable fact: If you declare yourself a fascist you WILL be cut down. No joke, just try and see what happens to authoritarian fetishists.

And if you feel personally attacked, thats all on you because in this reality fascists are in no way the good guys.

Dont @ me again with nonsensical arguments. I’ll just ignore you. Now please stay on topic

I don't think you understand what socialism is.

Nah I do. Its mostly mouthbreather undereducated/over opinionated types who clump together Maoism, Leninism, Marxism, Communism, State capitalism under socialism.

This isn’t even a joke, most European nations have heavy socialist policies. You ever get annoyed at Yanks calling Ireland commies for its healthcare?

Nah mate I’m not joking at all. You’ve declared yourself an authoritarian fetishist on who is a fascist and who isn’t. That makes you a fascist. Mind how you go now mate.

Looooooooool nah thats just mental gymnastics.

Were the US being fascists when they invaded Europe to kill nazis? Nah mate. Its simple. No mental gymnastics required.

Fascists = gets cut down and killed in reality.

Francisco Franco never said anything about eradicating any people based upon race or religion (he actually saved numerous Jews) but there is no doubt that he was absolutely 100% a fascist.

    This is pretty much /argument.
People can jump up and down and scream and shout about "muh freedom of speech", but basically this and fcuk off.
Don't like it? Fcuk off some more.

Didnt read any of that. I will only stay on topic and say that anyone who openly states they are fascist in person within my vicinity will get verbally and physically humiliated.

That doesn't happen though, lots of people go and the very most times they massively outnumber the "activists" protesting.

Modern facism is coming from the left.
It hasn't traditionally but it's now coming from the left in the form of libertarism.

I pondered for a second whether perhaps you had a point, and debated in my head whether it was possible.
I scrolled down and then seen you equated facism to libertarism.

I think you need to look up the definitions of these words before throwing them around because despite what you might like to think, you can't just call a a dinner plate a spade because you want it to be. Well you can, but just don't expect anyone to take it seriously.

    https://www.britannica.com/topic/fascism
Although fascist parties and movements differed significantly from one another, they had many characteristics in common, including extreme militaristic nationalism, contempt for electoral democracy and political and cultural liberalism, a belief in natural social hierarchy and the rule of elites, and the desire to create a Volksgemeinschaft (German: “people’s community”), in which individual interests would be subordinated to the good of the nation.

    https://www.britannica.com/topic/liberalism
Liberalism, political doctrine that takes protecting and enhancing the freedom of the individual to be the central problem of politics. Liberals typically believe that government is necessary to protect individuals from being harmed by others, but they also recognize that government itself can pose a threat to liberty.

    https://www.britannica.com/topic/libertarianism-politics
Libertarianism, political philosophy that takes individual liberty to be the primary political value.

And if that is what happened then it wouldn't really be a problem.
But the 2nd last panel doesn't happen.
The protesters never listen to who they deplatform.
They have been told or just feel that someone is a fascist and they go with it.
No analysis, no thinking just the mob in action.

OP's claim that 'De-platforming fascists works' is one that I feel needs further clarification.

What did the OP mean by 'works'?
Whether or not something works depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

If they are trying to silence opinion, de-platforming certainly works well at this.

If Twitter/YouTube/Facebook want to virtue signal by showing that they oppose controversial views (which could well be their true aim), then de-platforming controversial people will work.

But if it is the noble goal that they espouse,"To prevent violence and the spread of socially destructive misinformation. " it certainly hasn't, isn't and won't work.

What most de-platform advocates fail to realize is that banning people for expressing controversial ideas also denies them the opportunity to be challenged.

Nah theyre cowards. They’ll hide behind mental gymnastics and conspiracy. remember the saluting guy at gemma o doberty’s rally? Turned out to be some neo nazi who outed himself on twitter. Fascists wouldnt admit who he was because thats a death knell for any movement.

    https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/59n99q/milo-yiannopoulos-says-hes-broke

Far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos is broke and no longer able to make a living selling racism, xenophobia and bullying after being banned from twitter and facebook.

"I spent years growing and developing and investing in my fan base, and they just took it away in a flash."

Right-wing conman Jacob Wohl, who was banned from twitter earlier this year, echoed Yiannopoulos' statements.

    You love to see it.

It is great to see. Let's hope others like the Mercers follow suit. America's current 'Republic of Gilead' type government, the mess that is Brexit, all these ISIS attacks and all them mass shootings are all examples of far right extremism. Whether you are watching or reading a documentary about the Nazis or whether it is watching/reading how Gilead forms in The Handmaid's Tale/The Testaments or how the evil empire formed in Star Wars, you notice ALWAYS the far right take hold via longterm plots and planning.

Whether it is ISIS or the Tea Party or Nigel Farage's outfit, ALL pose threats and ALL could go out of control and morph into even WORSE organisations than they already are. The typical right wing extremist will try and label themselves as 'conservative' and will denounce 'liberalism' which they also call 'socialism' or 'communism'. This is EXACTLY where they show their credentials. The word 'liberalism' means freedomism, being free. They are the OPPOSITE to that. They also use terms like illiberal democracy, a fancy name for a democracy in name only but really a dictatorship.

While some people may be more conservative than others, and some people are more rightwing and some more leftwing, but at no point should decent people support anything that is racist, sectarian, misogynist, xenophobic, homophobic or any other brand of intolerance.

In Ireland, we have another form of extremism: health fascism where everything is written down as bad for you and dangerous legislation is passed (that the people never requested) based on lies. The Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 is a recent example. This sort of thing by an otherwise moderate government also of course rubs the people the wrong way and leaves it open for a Peter Casey type to oppose it and get elected in the future. Unpopular unneeded legislation like the Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 can easily be used by Euro-skeptic far right types as a vehicle for their 'populism' to win over the people. The thing then is for the moderate governments is to THINK long and hard before implementing 'bait legislation' like this that will allow the far right an opportunity. The Public Health (Alcohol) Act 2018 was inspired by a cult called the Pioneer Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart and probably intended to cause a schism between the Irish people and government.

What is your aim? To make the world a better place? Or to make yourself feel better?

If its to make the world a better place, you may learn from one of these fine people:
    • Martin Luther King Jr.
    • Mahatma Gandhi
    • Tolstoy
    • Cesar Chavez

But if it's to make yourself 'feel' better, I'm sure there's nothing I can do to stop you :pac:

To what end? Do you consider yourself like Batman going around making the world a better place?

What if you mistakenly hear someone call themselves a fascist but it was out of context or a joke, or what if they say it just to piss you off, how will you know if they are truly a fascist, or does it matter?

Are you making the world a better place, or are you being a 'big-man'?
