    Match Odds:

    Ireland 5/6
    Draw 21/10
    Bulgaria 7/2

A chance for the fringe players to impress against a Bulgaria side that were beaten 4-0 by England in their qualifier a few days ago. Here's the line-up:
Ireland XI: Travers; Christie, Egan, Long, Hourihane; Browne, Cullen; O'Dowda, Judge, Curtis; Hogan.

Happy for Travers to get a game. Also looking forward to seeing how Browne and Cullen get on.

Bulgaria with a decent chance there. Dimitrov won the header from the corner.

About as many here as there is in Lansdowne :P

It seems pretty pointless setting up a thread mate as everyone is discussing the match in the superthread.

The point was to avoid it getting caught up in a discussion of the u21s.

Cyrus Christie in particular pretty dreadful so far.

    Snoozefest of a game.

Very poor contest. Perhaps Jack Byrne could come on and make something happen.

1-0. Alan Browne scores his first international goal. Nice.

Bulgaria have a pen. Come on, Travers!

No keeping that one out. 1-1.

Collins for 3-1! He's done well since coming on. Good cross from Stevens.

3-1 to Ireland it ends. Positive evening ultimately. Second half was much better than the dull first. Cullen MOTM is a fair call. We're in a good place heading into next month.

Bulgaria really aren't up to much these days. I remember a qualifier in Dublin where Stiliyan Petrov bossed us in midfield.
