It’s designed to show men how hard women have it I’d say. There is probably a glass ceiling where the men can only have so much money etc.

Bit of a gimmick for publicity. There is worse things going on in the world.

Don't have any problem with the 'celebrate women's inventions' bit but the uneven amounts of money would probably make it difficult to play fairly as a game.

If you knew anything about the 1950s you'd say it was factual! I can't see what the fuss is here with the game TBH. It does have a Ms on the front of it and seems to have a very specific audience in mind. I suppose they are covering all conceivable bases to make money. Even so can't see it taking off in a big way with skewed rules like that. Part of the fun of board games is being able to compete and learning to do so in a fair manner.

I thought things were getting better but by focusing on just women all the time the media are causing social issues and a divide,

Women are equal to men and have been for a very long time in the eyes of the law and the public. Women are not the same as Men but you would have to be a little crazy not to notice that, both psychologically and biologically but we have many similarities and can do many of the same jobs and both of us contribute to modern society, the whole 'gender norms are dangerous' argument seems like an attempt to disrupt our society, There will be plenty of cross over but Women will be drawn to certain types of work, men will be drawn to certain types of work....it is just the ways things are.

On topic, while I imagine Hasbro are trying to go with a "Do you see now, men! This is what women have to go through every day!" type nonsense political statement, I'm just going to maintain that Hasbro thinks women are inept/terrible with money and their own finances and need a handicap to win a game played by children!
