As the writer acknowledges herself though, print publishing is in decline in general, and some of those titles remain in digital form. Some don't because the internet is so crowded. Only the huge titles can survive I'd say, and mostly through social media.

You might have a point about The Pool though - a horribly bitter, man-hating online publication.

It's hard to tell what are the factors driving a decline in publications, attention spans are at an all time low as a consequence of social media and online news which doesn't help, but circulation rates are tumbling at an enormous pace way beyond what could be attributed to technology.

This wokeness is a fairly new mainstream phenomenon and it has systematically failed to attract new readers in a meaningful fashion...it probably has turned away current readers who enjoyed the escapism for what it was.

It'll be interesting to see in 5 years time what state Hollywood, Media etc are after we all have been bored to tears with this horrible culture we find ourselves in...I can't see this movement getting anymore popular that is for sure!
