Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

7/10 review on Nintendo World Report so it's decent.

Also noticed they've added new free levels to Doom 1 and Doom 2 if you have those

Seen two Switch Mario games in Tesco Extra Naas, Mario Kart and the Mario Maker, €20 each, had about 5 or 6 of both in a bin near the DVD's.

Didn't realise you need Mario Kart 8 and a switch for each player for Mario Kart Live.

Apologies for the post I seem to have been led astray on the info here above.

To save anyone else the spin, I just popped in to pick these up and there’s no sign of them. Staff not particularly helpful either.

Thanks SMC92Ian for the heads up though!

Hmmm haven't seen anywhere that says you need Mario kart 8. Websites I've looked at say a "digital copy of the software" comes with it. Assuming this is Mario kart live software and nothing to do with 8.

    From here:
this product requires a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite console (sold separately) and the Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit software to operate. The Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit software will be available as a free download from Nintendo eShop and from this website from 16/10/2020.

My cousins got 2 of each for their kids for Xmas so maybe she told her friends, this was Sunday, I might start just buying these when I see them sometimes if I've cash to sell on as they go quick.

Photo them might be good too and post the pics, could try and convince other stores to equal the price.. ;):)

Not sure if this fits this thread, but I liked them enough to buy a few, I saw them on another forum - enamel badges.

Between this and buying out the Zelda bags in Argos, it's pretty bad form.

Little dragons cafe down to 8.84 in argos can be ordered in to each store.
Its on the gamestop trade list so 8.84+19.99e for brand new switch game cant go wrong if you can get one :)

Is there a list of Gamestop titles that are available to purchase for this offer? Or is it any full price game? Wouldn't mind trading in my copy of Astral Chain for Age of Calamity when it comes out in November.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

Anybody able to order Little Dragons Cafe in Argos? It comes up as the usual Argos 'out of stock' stuff when you go to the Reserve page.

    Stock is gone then

  • Registered Users Posts: 796 ✭✭✭Eduard Khil

That GameStop list is being updated for October fact that this is up here means it's highly unlikely Little Dragons Cafe will remain in the offer list.

Just got my text from the reservation I made on Wednesday at 8am pity it's the other side of Dublin I'll pick it up later today

No go when I went into Gamestop, it's not on their list in store. In fact that list isn't there at all.
They have some new switch trade list from October 1st, that only applies to trade in for the new Mario game that's coming out. If anyone else is successful though, I'd love to know!

Monster Hunter Rise: Collectors Edition preorder at Gamestop for €79.99.

    https://www.gamestop.ie/Switch/Games/75933/monster-hunter-rise-collectors-edition.

Now usually it wouldn't be a 'bargain' at Gamestop, but it's actually the cheapest pre-order I've found of the few that's up so far.

Good, polished game. Still need to finish it. The platforming is great, but the over world stuff gets tedious and looks stupid and ugly. I'd like this game better without that. What were they thinking.

I have to agree, the overworld stuff is just getting in the way of the actual gameplay which doesn't seem terrible.
The first one reminded me, in the worst ways, of the N64 games from back in the day.

Ghostbusters remastered is around €7 and Castle of heart is about €1.
75cent if you are in SA.

Even though critic reviews are middling, user scores are at a 7.

Was in sports direct the other day, well there sister store brand maxx and they are selling video games

They have games for all consoles however the switch stuff was all indie games at fairly good prices like 15 to 18 euros

They had xenoblade 2 torna for 18 euros which is a fairly good price

Loads of the games have game the U.K. games shop prices still on then

So if your around a brand maxx worth popping in and seeing what they have as I was shocked to see games at fairly ok prices

The last tomb raider for the Xbox was only 8 euros and the Davison 2 collectors edu was 20 euros

Not surprised, Game have quite a few concession stores in larger Sports Direct outlets in the UK.

Gioteck JC-20 Neon curved Joy-con set down to €36.29 in Argos seem to be a small amount of stock available worth a buy for a spare set of joy-cons mind you they are third party so not gonna have every feature of the real deal.
